As I woke up the next morning all the memories of what happened yesterday came flooding back and I felt a smile creep onto my face. I checked my phone like I always do in the morning and as I went through my social media I saw pictures of me and Justin at Starbucks everywhere. I realized that I had lied to Nash yesterday and that if he saw these pictures he'd break up with me. Although it doesn't sound true I still love Nash I only think Justin is very good looking.
A few seconds later Nash starting moving around and then he opened his eyes. This was probably my favorite part of the morning when he opened his eyes and i could stare into his beautiful blue ones. He smiled when he saw me and kissed me then got up to go to the bathroom. I remembered I had class today so I got up and changed into sweatpants so I could drive home and get my stuff.
I said bye to all the boys and left. When I got in the car my phone started ringing , I looked down and saw that it was Justin. I didn't know if I should answer or not but without thinking about it I hit the answer button-
J- Hey Ali what's up?
A- Nothing much just driving home.
J- ok well I just wanted to let you know that I am officially moving in today so I hope we can see each other more often.
A- Definitely I'll see you in a little bit.
I ended the call and I was kind nervous about having him as my next door neighbor. That would only make Nash more suspicious. I got home and started getting ready to go to class. I put the last of my books in my bag. I walked to the elevator and hit the button. Once the door opened I saw Justin.
"Oh hey Justin, long time no see" I said a little nervous.
" Yea how was your dinner yesterday?" He said.
"Good" I replied in a hurry.
We said our goodbyes and I walked out and drove to my college nearby. As I was sitting in class the only thing I could think about was what would happen if Nash saw the pictures of me and Justin at Starbucks. After a long hour of class it finally ended so I thought it would be nice to grab some coffee for me and Nash.
"Hey where's Nash?" I asked Cameron as I walked in.
"oh my gosh I am so happy to see you Ali, Nash was on his phone this morning a little bit after you left and then all of a sudden he got really upset and walked upstairs and he won't talk to anyone. Do you think he'll talk to you." Cameron said.
"the picture."
"huh what picture are you talking about Ali."
Before I could answer Cameron I ran upstairs to Nash' s room. Without knocking I opened his door to see a puffy-eyed Nash. I had rarely seen him like this and it really broke my heart knowing this was all my fault. He looked up at me and quickly put his head back down.
"Why would you cheat on me. I was a good boyfriend for 2 years and I never cheated on you and then you interview one guy and then you cheat on me. Is that why you were late to our dinner because you were with Justin?"
I was completely speechless I wanted to tell Nash that I wasn't cheating on him but I just couldn't find the words to say it.
"Nash I wasn't cheating on you Justin just invited me for a drink at Starbucks after the interview and I lost track of time. We didn't do anything,"
"Don't lie to me Alison we're over" Nash said in an angry voice. I was shocked he had never used my full name before and he just broke up with me. Although it sounds weird Nash was the first guy I actually loved.
"Nash please just hear me out. I didn't cheat on you after the interview Justin invited me for a coffee but went home and changed first which is why it took so long, after that me and him drank coffee until realized I was late so I quickly met you outside and we went to our dinner." I said tears brimming my eyes.
"Alison why won't you just admit you cheated on me?" he asked in an angry tone.
"Because I didn't Nash" at that point i was completely in tears and I didn't wait to hear what he had to say because I knew it would break my heart more so I ran out the house.
I heard Nash and one of the other boys call my name but I didn't stop running until I got to my car. Without thinking I called Justin.
J-Hey Ali what's up?
A- Justin meet me at my apartment in 20 minutes.
J- Are you okay Ali?
A- Justin just meet me there.
