I heard a thud. I looked up to see someone sit across from me.I had never seen him before. Taking one glance at him, I decided I wanted nothing to do with him.
His Raven black fringe fell into his eyes as he grinned at me sheepishly.
"Can I sit here?"
I did not have to even look at the table to know that it was empty. I am nothing but a shadow in this hell called "school". I wanted to say no, and perhaps act like a cool, stoic, anime character, but all that I managed to say was; "Sure"
He flashed me a smile before saying; "Thanks"
Why was he thanking me? Why was he sitting on a loner's table in the first place? Frankly, I didn't really care. Packing up the remains of my now empty tray, I stood up.
"No Problem" Was all I managed to say coldly before I exited the cafeteria, preparing myself for another few hours of feeling like a hostage.
