At the hospital
I ran inside the hospital and I found my mom crying sitting down while Harry rubbed her back and hold her hand. I ran over and started panicking my mom seen me and hugged the life out of me and just sob. I can actually feel my mom's heart beat against my chest and I know if my mom doesn't calm down soon her blood pressure would go bad like last time or worse she might have a heart attack.
"Momma calm down what happened?' I asked wipping the tears off her face.
"We were out to lunch just talking when all of a sudden this guy with all black on and wearing a leather mask on came in and started shouting and then he said my name and before I knew he pointed the gun at me and Richard blocked me from the bullet and the guy shot him in the chest". Mom explained crying even harder which made me cry.
We sat there for 13 hours waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us something about my dad. Literally mom and I got on the ground and started praying Harry doesn't do the whole praying thing so he just stood by my side and petted my back.
"Richard Simpson?' The doctor called out and we all ran to him.
"Is my husband okay?' Mom asked gripping the doctor.
"He'll be fine the bullet miss his lungs and heart lucky enough we removed the bullet but I would get him home to Atlanta quickly because he'll be on bed rest for 2 months you all can see him now". The doctor explained.
Once we got to the room mom ran to the bed side and kissed my dad deeply. It was sweet at first but soon it became sexual so Harry and I walked out the room for more privacy. I made plans to fly back to Atlanta with them to help my mom so she doesn't have to do this alone and get stress out.
Harry wanted to come as well which I told him he didn't have too but he wanted too so I ended up buying 5 tickets to Atlanta. The first two for my parents, the second two for Harry and I and the other one is for Tanya. Harry brought a private investigator to see who tried to kill my mother which I thought was sweet of him because he spent his money on my family which never happened before. The plan is we go to Atlanta next week my parents are getting assistance by a private nurse and doctor which Harry also pay for to go with them. They leave tonight and we leave next week because we still got things to do here before we up and leave.
Two days later
Harry and I walked around the store looking for traveling food and other things for our trip to my home town. I can't wait I miss the ATL home of Ti, Love and hip, and everything else. As I'm looking for a pillow for Tanya for the long airplane ride while Harry made a call to his company telling them the plan.
"Damn Brianna you look better then the last time I saw you". A guy said so I turned around and seen my ex.
"Oh shit... What do you want?' I asked placing my hands on my hips.
"Well damn I can't say hey?' Travis asked about to touch my booty but I moved.
"Hell no now bye". I hissed about to walk away but Travis grabbed me "Let me go before I get my new man over here to whip your ass". I warned moving my body from him.
"Bria bab- who this?' Harry asked grabbing my waist.
"Harry honey this is an old friend of Dee's this is Travis and Travis this is my boyfriend Harry ". I smiled.
"Nice to meet you". Harry smiled down at Travis he's bigger "Anyways darling Richard is having a party for Dee it's a surprise so let's go buy you a new dress and Tanya a babysitter". He explained kissing me.
I smiled and grabbed all the stuff we need and after checking out our things we headed off. After dropping Tanya off at her Nanny's house I stopped by Dee's and Richard's house on my way home. After knocking their maid answered the door with a small smile and invited me in. Dee came running down the stairs with her hair and nails freshly done and she's looking on fleek right now.
"Hey baby girl". Dee smiled hugging me.
"Girl you looking thicker then usual". I smiled spending her around "Richard been feeding you rice and cabbage". I giggled.
"What's up darling how your dad?' Dee asked.
"My mom said he's trying to get up so my dad is being stubborn but he's alive which I'm happy about". I said.
"I'm so glad for that anyways you texted me about something important what was it?' Dee asked.
"Oh girl I ran into Travis at the store and he was being his usual self". I laughed.
"I just don't understand why you messed with that nigga he was no good sold half your money and let's not forget his five baby mommy's". Dee explained pouring us wine "But that's over and done with I got some amazing news that bring light to your eyes guess who going to be a god mom?' She smirked.
I looked at her with a shock face to see her holding up a pregnancy test. I screamed so loud I swear the neighbors from my street heard me. I hugged her as tears fell down my eyes because I'm happy for her.
"I'm crying and shit". I giggled wiping my eyes '' I'm fucking up my makeup''. I cried.
"I'm telling Richard tonight I can't wait I went to the doctors today and that confirm that I am indeed pregnant". Dee cried staring at the test.
Dee and Richard have been together for a year and 3 months now so they are celebrating their year anniversary tonight and its a surprise party for Dee. When I come back from Atlanta it will be my birthday we only staying for a few days then we head back home.
