Mating continued with only stops for him to get food. Eventually my heat dissipated, and u was in relief. No more pain racked my body when he wasn't with me.
I was most definitely pregnant with pups now. It wasn't like it could be avoided being as I was getting into age and it was becoming the season for it. I know that after the mating he would get extra protective and edgy expecting me to be pregnant and having to be safe.
It be nice but once the hormones come in it might not go down well. I got up, the trot over to the river for water, when he growled at me. Great it starts up, I'll survive but I won't be happy about it. I settled back down and curled myself up waiting for him to allow me to get water.
He finally nodded his approval after he sniffed around. Trotting over I drank my fill and headed back to our home. He would start to bring me soft items soon, for me to make a nest, even if I'm not pregnant.
