I looked out the window of the jet watching the dark blue waves crash into the ocean. I leaned on my hand and looked at the bracelets preventing my powers from being used. "I'll be out soon." I think to myself, watching the water. I hear the doors sliding open but I don't bother looking at the person walking toward me.
"#34, we will be landing soon-"
"I would prefer if you called me Melody." I cut off the man dressed in black with a cold voice.
"Right. Well Ms. Melody, is there anything we can do for you before we land?" He pushed up his glasses and combed through his hair.
"Yes actually, explain to me where I'm going and why." I finally looked at him with a piercing gaze.
"You are going to the Island of Nightfall. Why you are going, I can only guess you got in the way of how a story would have been written, and prevented the plot from carrying out."
I felt the  plane shake and start to descend. The man sighed and pushed up his glasses before walking towards the door. He stopped at the door and turned halfway.
"I wish you luck Madame." With that he left and the doors slid shut.
I went back to looking out the window and watched as the dark clouds and the grassy island came into view. "Jeez, this is welcoming." I think to myself and start to play with the top of my blue shirt, waiting for the plane to land.

I stepped off the plane into the dark grey concrete of the runway.
"So this will be my new life huh?" I think to myself grabbing my necklace. Walking towards the town Dragging my suitcase behind me.
"Where is Armin Lane? It can't be that far since it says 'near airport' right in the directions." I think to myself as I trudge through the lonely streets. Looking up, I see a broken and old looking sign. "Armin Lane." I read it and walk down the street looking for house number 34. When I finally find #34 I look up and see a dark green Victorian looking house surrounded by bushes and woods. I sigh "At least they got my favorite color right.." I started walking up the dark driveway. When I go to the store I will have to buy street lamps to light up the place. Sighing, I open the door and prepare to start my new life as a villain criminal.

I grab my stomach trying to stop it from growling. I walk to my fridge and realize nothing is in it.
"Shit." I mumble to myself, closing the door.
No food+Hungry Melody=World Imploding.
I shut off the lights and get ready to go outside and walk to the store. It was quite dark out because it was late at night and fear was starting to kick in. If I was going to live on this Island, I would need to destroy fear, or laugh in it's face. Living on an island full of criminals, fear would be a weakness which I could not have.
I stop walking when I hear footsteps behind me. I was standing still and my eyes were wide with fear. The footsteps pace quickened and I could hear faint laughter.
"Great. First day here and I'm going to die." I think to myself as my senses kick in and I start to run. I didn't know where I was going but I would run as far as I could with my heels on. The skinny jeans weren't helping either,

tight clothes and heels when going to an island full of criminals and killers." I mentally scolded myself as my ocean colored hair was behind blown behind my running figure, trying to get away from the person behind me.
After a good five minutes, I don't hear the footsteps behind me anymore so I look behind me to see nothing. I sigh as I stand there gasping for breath. I turn around only to be pushed against the wall behind me.
I look up at the girl who is a couple inches taller than me with long blonde hair with bangs covering her right eye, black lipstick on her smirking lips, a white dress covering her figure, a black leather jacket, and a spiked collar around her neck. My eyes go wide as
