Too Late

Iris's POV

The Enchanted Forest

 Red and I got up to the roof, we were too late. Snow didn't die, but she just got seriously injured. When Red and I arrived up there, Barry was pushing Snow off of part of the castle. Red was fast enough to knock him out. 

 I looked over the edge. 

 "You should go down there." I told Red. I didn't even need to say anything. She raced down to the bottom of the castle. 

 From what I saw, Red was checking her pulse. She looked up at me,and gave me a thumbs up. I let out a breath of relief, then I went over to Barry. "Why would you want to kill Snow?" I asked myself. Barry was wearing his Flash suit, and all.

  I was really close to Barry, and I didn't hear his heart beating. I placed my head on his chest to be sure. I didn't hear, or feel anything. Barry was breathing, but his heart wasn't beating. 

 Red and I stole a carriage, Barry and Snow were both inside, passed out. Red was driving the carriage outside, and I just sat next to her. "I think i know part of the reason why Barry wanted to killl Snow, it just doesn't make much sense." I said.

 "Lots of stuff doesn't make sense." Red told me, "What's your idea?" 

 "Well, Barry was definitely breathing, but his heart wasn't beating.' I told Red. Her eyes grew wide.

 "That explains everything." she told me,"The Evil Queen must have his heart." I was so confused.

 "What?" I asked.

 A person that can do magic can take someone's heart out of their chest. They can use their heart to control them against their will." Red explained. 

 "When The Queen's knights took Barry, she took his heart." I added, "She ordered him to kill Snow." 

 "Then lets get it back." Red said.

 "I couldn't ask you to do that." I said.

 "This isn't over until the Evil Queen can't control him. I'm going."

 I smiled, "Lets steal a heart."

Emma's POV

 "The ball was last night." Regina said, "We missed it." She scowled.

 "We should have brought Iris's scarf with us." Cisco said, "Then-" He paused. He looked down at the ground. "My suit." He said.

 "What?" I asked.

 "The Flash suit, I made it, making my suit." He said.

 "She means what about the suit." Regina said.

 Cisco knelt down, and picked up a piece of fabric, he stared off into space for a bit. "They're not far from here. Last night Red and Iris stole a carriage with Barry and Snow knocked out inside. They were heading that way." Cisco pointed the opposite direction we were going in. 

 "That's towards the dark castle." Regina pointed out. 

 "They're going to steal Barry's heart back." I said. 

 "I guess we'll change direction.' Regina said, turning the other way.

 "Not like that." Cisco said.

 "Not like what?" I questioned.\

 "Well, aren't we standing out, wearing twenty-first century clothes?" I had to admit, he was right.

 With the snap of Regina's fingers, we were all wearing Enchanted Forest clothes. "Can we go now?" She asked.
