Iris's POV

The Enchanted Forest

 "What do you say?" I asked Red, "Do you want to help me save Snow?"

 Red turned around, and looked at me. "Fine." She sighed, "I'm Red."

"Iris."

 "If Snow got away, I know where she'd be." Red said.

 "Where?" I asked.

 "The ball for Prince Thomas, it's his twenty-first birthday. She said she's meet me there." 

 The ball. I thought. She said we went to a ball. "Lets go find Snow." I said.

Regina's POV

Storybrooke

 I was back in my vault, using magic to heal me wounds. They were mostly healed, when Emma and someone else walked in. "Emma and....." 

 "Cisco." The other person finished.  

  I looked at Emma. "Did you find all of the ingreients?" She asked. 

 "Almost." I replied, "I just need a symbol of love." 

 "Why don't you use your heart?" Emma asked.

 "I protected my heart from anyone, including myself, being able to take it." Emma started messing around with her ring on the necklace again. "It's only a symbol of love." I said getting an idea.

 Emma looked at what I was looking at. "No." She said.

 "Do you have a better idea?" I asked her. She didn't answer. 

 "So are we doing this?" Cisco asked.

 "I need to pick up a few things, but yes." I answered, "Meet me at the warehouse Zelena cast it in in about an hour. " I rushed out of the vault to get baby Neal, and Belle's brain. 

 An hour later, I met Cisco and Emma at the warehouse. Emma and I set the objects around in a circle, and I started to cast the spell. 

 "We might want to back away." I said.

 "Good idea." Emma agreed. 

 We backed away a bit as the portal opened. The portal got bigger. "So are we going through?" Cisco asked.

 I nodded. "On the count of three." I said, "One, two, three." We jumped through the portal.

 We landed on the ground. "Ow." Emma said, "Someone needs to find a way to make portal landings softer."

 "Agreed." Cisco said, getting up. 

 "So where are they?" I asked Cisco and Emma.

 "We stopped at Granny's and asked Red before we came to the warehouse." Emma said, "She told us, her and Iris went to a ball for Prince Thomas, so they could look for my mom." Emma finished. 

 "The lets go." I said.

 "There's something you need to know first." Emma said, "The reason Barry tried to kill my mom, was because the Evil Queen had his heart."

Iris's POV

The Enchanted Forest

 Red and I stole two ballgowns from someone, and went to the ball in those. When we entered te ballroom, I was astonished. The walls were shiny, and white, the floor was just as shiny, but in a different color. Food covered tables around the ballroom. Red and I didn't have invitations, so we broke in through the back, but the normal entrance was amazing. It was a golden staircase, with specks of diamonds in the railing.

 "Stop spinning in circles, looking at the ballroom, people are starting to stare." Red told me.

 "Sorry, I've never been to a ball before."  I told her, starting to walk normally, "Where do you think Snow would be?" I asked.

 "She wouldn't be out in the open." Red stated. 

 I looked up the golden staircase, and saw a dark hallway.

 "There." I said.

 Red looked up there as well and nodded.

 "Lets go." She said. 

 We made our way up the staircase. That's when I knew something was wrong. It was something the people in that ball wouldn't notice. Just for a second, a flash of red lightning flew past me. I stopped.

 "What's wrong?" Red whispered to me.

 "My friend, Barry, he's here."

 Red's became worried for her friend. "How do you know?" She asked.

 Instead of explaining how complicated the last two years have been, I just said, "I just do."

 I jogged as fast as I could in my dress. I had no idea what was wrong with Barry, but it was making him want to murder someone. 

 We made it up the staircase, and a bit down he hallway, I saw Snow. She was looking towards Red and I. "Re-" Was all she managed to say, before she disappeared. A  flash of red lightning came past Red and I. I blinked, and Snow was gone.

 "If I wanted to kill someone, where would I go?" I asked myself.

 "The roof." Red answered, "There's a ball down here, who would be up there?"
