Lucy

Sometimes I'm convinced I'd end up being a cat lady. I don't like cats though, I'm more of a dog person. God I'm never going to grow old with someone and that's probably because love is such a bitch to me. Sometimes it fucks you up, turning you into a complete different person. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. Unfortunately my case was the latter

I drove through the busy streets of Miami, I've been driving for quite some time now. I always did this just to clear my mind, it soothed me and stopped me from overthinking. However I wasn't surprised when I ended up in the secluded nightclub I used to always go to before. Just seeing the building gave me chills, immediately I closed my eyes when images flashed through my head of the memories I had in the place with my past lover.

Not now.

The club didn't serve the best drinks, their girls payed off for it though. That's how I met her and she was definitely something else. I got off my car and approached the entrance, looking up to the white light that read the club's name.

The Vault.

I always thought the name was funny but it's whatever, not like I can do anything about it. I pushed the door and entered, adjusting to the soft glow of the lighting.

The lights were glowing purple due to the fact that it's Friday, the color changes depending on the day. I walked towards the bar, the familiar bartender immediately recognizing me.

"Long time no see, Vives," his hair was shorter now, he used to have long curls. "Where have you been?"

I shrugged nonchalantly, readjusting my position on the bar stool. "Here and there."

"Always so mysterious, where's Jauregui?" He chuckled already on his way to serve me my Margarita.

"None of your business"

Since the very start he'd taken a liking on Lauren. It was sad to watch, she didn't even give him the time of the day. She had a girlfriend at the time anyway, and she was wonderful...

I grabbed the glass from his hand and took sip, the alcohol making its way down my throat. It burned but I absolutely loved the feeling. I turned to the side and noticed a long haired brunette who'd been listening to the bartender and I's conversation all along, she was pretty I'll give her that.

She got off the stool and made her way towards me her hips moving painfully slow while I kept my eye on her. "Hey, that good?" She gestured towards the Margarita in my hand.

Before I could reply she had already gotten the glass from my hand and downed the rest of it, locking her eyes with mine. She put it down and smirked at her, I knew what she wanted.

I wasted no time and pulled her towards the side where area was dark, everyone else was busy on the dance floor or drinking their alcohol. She pushed me roughly on the wall and my eyes closed as her lips found its way to my neck, sucking on it softly before trailing kissed up to the back of my ear. Jesus Christ.

I turned us around so now she was pinned on the wall. I slipped my thigh between hers and she groaned in pleasure. Just before I could put my lips on hers I felt buzzing on my pocket.

Damnit.

I pulled away much to our dismay and fished my phone out of my pocket. To my surprise it was the one and only Lauren Jauregui.
