Third Person Perspective

Derek sat in the waiting room. Y/N was in critical condition and this made Derek highly concerned but angry. He sat there bouncing his knee and tugging at his hair.

"Derek, calm down. This wasn't your fault." Scott said gently from behind Derek.

"If I was there this wouldn't of happened." Derek whispered.

"And if you were you could've gotten seriously hurt." Stiles tried to help.

"Better me than her!" Derek shouted and stood up.

"I could've protected her! That's was I promised when we were reading our vows! But yet, I let her get hurt!" Derek turned away. He looked at the wall and then fell against it.

"It's all my fault." He whispered through his tears. His head was against the wall when the doctor walked out.

"Hale." She called.

Derek and the boys quickly turned around and ran towards the doctor, and into the room.

"God. Y/N. It's going to be okay." Derek cried and rushed over to her bruised and bloodied body. He sat next to her and held her hand tightly. His tears dropped onto the sheets.

He lifted her hand to his face and rested his chin on her hand.

"Please...stay.." He whispered.

"I'm not going anywhere." A quiet voice echoed through the quiet room.

Derek's eyes shot up and he stared into Y/N's.

"Baby." He whispered and sent Stiles and Scott off to find a nurse. He stood up and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"It's great to see your up Mrs. Hale. You were hurt pretty badly. But you'll get better. The cut on your torso will soon turn to a scar and those bruises will all heal. But you have a broken ankle too. So once we dispatch you we'll give you crutches." The nurse smiled sweetly.

"When can I leave?" Y/N's pained voice asked.

"About an hour." She smiled and walked out.

Derek rushed to Y/N's side of the truck and carried her inside the loft.

"I'm gonna make your favorite for dinner." He smiled and slid the door closed. He walked up the stairs and set Y/N on their bed. He then rushed down stairs and began to make the food.
