Twenty Three

(Stasia)

Hours after Thor rescued me and brought me to Terra we sat at a table in Starbucks. I kept feeling a sharp pain within my stomach then they got bigger causing me to leave and go to the hospital. I was so worried the baby had been hurt that when the nurse told me I was in labor I was relieved, then it hit me. I wanted Loki to hold my hands I pushed, telling me cheesy things when I screamed. I was so depressed that I wouldn't even speak with the doctor through out the painful procedure. When it was over I got to hold her until a nurse came to tale her for testing. It was then something went off. I realized it was strange the doctor and all his nurses left a woman who just gave birth to a child in a room alone. I began by sitting up and looking around. All the tables were cleared off and something inside me twisted.

"Stasia." A voice called and I stood looking around.

"Hello?" I called out and it echoed through the room.

"Stasia, you have angered me the last time." I heard my fathers voice an turned looking for him.

"First you leave me, then you take my heir and give it to the worthless God! I have had enough of these games! Your just like your worthless mother was. Broken and dead." He said and I turned facing him.

"No, it is I who is done with your games. Begone evil demon!" I shouted but instead of it working I get a sharp pain. I looked down to see the dagger the gods had given my father to collect souls sticking out of my stomach.

"This time, you will be mine. Forever." He said as I faded. I felt something hard smack against my skulls then the feeling of flying and finally I opened my eyes revealing a cage. Around me other little ones hung with souls clinging to the bars trying to be free.

"Welcome to death." I heard a voice call from my right and turned. The woman was beautiful. She was tall, skinny with long brown hair that was turning gray. Then it hit me.

"Is your name, Marcelline?" I asked and she cocked an eyebrow.

"Why yes." She said and I rushed to her hugging her.

"Mother its me. Stasia." I said and she smiled.

"I had a feeling from the hug." She said squeezing me again.

"So he got you too?" She asked calmly and I looked down.

"Yeah." I said and she smiled.

"What is it, beautiful? You don't want to be here with me?" She asked and I sighed sitting.

"I live to stay but I just had a baby and my fiancée needs to know." I said an she gasped.

"Why didn't you say so? Well technically your half demon so you actually have twenty four hours until you are stuck. All your fiancee has to do is find your body and reveal to you one truth." She said before grabbing a paper.

"What are you doing?" I asked an she smiled.

"Cheating." She said writing Terra's address on a piece of paper before releasing it.
