The evening sky looms over me as my mind reels to get a grip on its sanity. As I walk among the dancing trees, each step sending aching pain all over my fatigued body, I try to regain control of the dying life that was slipping through my fingers. Each gasping breath was agony against my chest, my lungs pumping furiously to keep in time with my heart beat. My soul breaking with each thump, my body not being able to handle the misery that seemed to intensify every second. Wishing to take my last breath I hear behind me the sound of death. The sound that I knew would kill me, that sound so horrifyingly appealing makes me turn around as my heart beats loud, the thundering beats echoing in my ears making me dizzy from the fervent cacophony that hardly masked the chilling sound of my grim reaper. Looking into icy cold eyes, the color of frozen blue, that blows frigid fear through my limbs but at the same time biting comfort; fingers of ice run down my spine making me shiver with a bone rattling magnitude. Terrified tears springing into my sore eyes, I take my demise with a smile.
