"So, what are we doing for your birthday on Friday?" He asks smiling at me. We're walking down the hallway headed towards the stairwell that leads to our lunch spot on the roof.

"I don't know, Jess wanted me to come see her sometime so that she could give me the present I don't need."

"Yeah, I heard." He says chuckling.

"What do you mean, you 'heard'?!" I say making air quotes with my fingers but he just laughs.

"Jessica and I talked and worked out a schedule so that we both get time with you on your birthday."

"You've got to be kidding me!" I say laughing, "you made a schedule?!"

"No, well I mean we didn't make one... We just figured one out!" He says defending himself, "What?! We both want time with you!!"

"Aw, Harry wants to spend time with me..." I coo at him nudging him with my elbow causing him to blush a little.

"Of course I want to spend time with my girl on her birthday." He says placing his arm around my shoulders.

"Your girl?" I say raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah, you're my girl." He says smiling and it gets quiet as we both pick at our lunch, "you know I meant every word I said the other night."

I look up at him and he's just staring at me, "I mean when you think about it, you helped me be myself when I haven't been myself in at least 2 years. And honestly, I don't even care what anybody thinks anymore. And I'm just, I don't know what this feeling is but every time you even look in my direction I would get nervous and I still do." I feel the red rise to my cheeks and I look at the ground, smiling.

"And god, you have to stop doing that!" He says throwing back his head.

"Doing what?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.

"That little smile that happens whenever you blush like when you're embarrassed or something. I mean I honestly thought something was wrong with me and then i realized, nothings wrong, I'm just falling in love."

"wow, it seems like you've thought about this a lot." I say.

"Because I have, when you left my house on Saturday when I was 'sick' i was either at home or boxing, just figuring things out in my head, and I've finally figured it out."

"When did you figure it out?"

"When I was on my way to the rink and a song came on the radio about falling in love, real sappy If you ask me, but listening to the lyrics made me realize that that was exactly how I felt for you" he says smiling, "so I turned my car around and drove to school, I ran straight for the gym and onto that stage and I took that sappy love song and sang it to you..." He says staring into space, reliving the moment. "And that look on your face when you saw me made me think maybe, just maybe... You felt the same way."

"Well I do feel the same way, I'm definitely falling for you." I say and his eyes light up.

"Since when?" He asks mocking my questions, provoking me.

"Since that first day..."

"....on the roof" he finishes for me and he takes his bottom lip between his teeth and tilts my head up to his, our face inches apart. "You're so beautiful..." He says his lips brushing mine as he talks. I feel my cheeks rise with red again and I can't help but smile, resting my forehead against his.

"God, every time.... You're killing me." He says as I lean in and kiss him and feel him chuckle against my lips. When we stop kissing, he leans his forehead against mine so I steal his move and take my bottom lip between my teeth.
