Prologue-
The room is filled with nothing but darkness. A young girl sits in the middle of the floor crying. "I don't want you to leave."
A young man's voice cuts through the sobs,"Be cheerful and optimistic. I must leave now, but one day I will be back for you." His voice is smooth and comforting. The girl tries her best to see through the blackness to catch last glimpse of him.
"When? How long will you be gone? How far away are you going? I don't want you to go. You make everything better. Please don't leave me. You're like the sun, taking away all the dark things. I don't like the dark. It makes me sad." A tear slowly slides down her cheek.
"Don't cry. I will never be too far. You may not be able to see me, but I will always be there for you." He wipes the tear from her face. "I'm not the sun, I promise. I am your moon in the night. I am your light in the darkness. I'm here to protect you forever and for always. Be brave my little flower."
