Chapter 2 (Amanda's P.O.V.)

"They tell me I'm too young to understand.
They say I'm caught up in a dream.
Life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes.
Well that's fine by me.

So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn't know I was lost "

Uhh it's my alarm. it's 8 AM. I need to wake up.

I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom.

I take a long hot shower.

I put my ugly , nerdy clothes on. Brush my long brown hair and put it in two braids. And at least I put on some glasses.

I look at my self in the mirror and think, how long untill vacation ?

I walk down the stairs and go to the study room.

I take my backpack and full it with my schoolbooks, books and some pens.

On every book is in neat handwriting written Amanda Williams. But everyone calls me Mandy.

I walk to the kitchen and see my dad.

"How is my favorite daughter ?" he asks.

"Dad, I'm your only daughter " I say when I take my plate, bread, jam and two apples.

I take a seat at the kitchen table and start with lubricate my sandwiches for school.

"I know that but I just wanted to say that." he says.

"When does mom come back from Paris ?" I ask dad while I put my lunch in my backpack .

"I think she leaves Paris in a few weeks. " he says.

"OK, thanks dad" I say.

I take a bite from the apple and get a book out of my backpack. And start reading it.

"It's a good one , isn't it. Because you already read it for more then eight times" he says.

"yes it's my favorite. it's called On The Run." I say with my mouth full of apple.

I look at the clock and it is just quarter to nine.

" It's time to go to school, dad " I say.

"This summer you'll get you're driving license so you don't need to ride to school with your bike anymore" he says.

Pffff when I turn 16.
