Thank you Brooklyn for the interview!

1.What's your name and how old are you?

My name is Brooklyn Pebbles and I just turned 13.

2. Which song would you listen to, during this interview?

I absolutely love Hamilton the Musical, and Matilda, so probably a song from one of those musicals.

3. Who is your celebrity crush?

I don't really have a celebrity crush, but I absolutely adore Jasmine Cephas Jones, Fina Strazza, Brooklyn Shuck, Mattea Conforti and Gabby Gutierrez (although all of those are obscure Broadway girls that not a lot of people know about lol).

 4. A book you read because everyone else was reading.

I honestly read The Fault In Our Stars because my friend got it from the library under my card and gave it to me...

5.Your fave band/artist.

Well... this is harder than I thought. I only really listen to musical theatre so I don't really know many current artists! I do like some music by Taylor Swift and Fifth Harmony though.

6. A country you would like to visit.

I'd really love to visit England someday

7. Something you are proud of.

I think I'm really proud of a lot of my writing, first of all, and I think I am a pretty good actress, so I'm proud of my achievements in theatre and musical theatre as well.

8. Three adjectivew which describe you the most.

Creative, feisty and unique.

9. Your guilty pleasure.

BARBECUE CHIPS. I COULD EAT THEM ALL THE TIME.

10. Favourite season.

I like Spring because of the smell of fresh-cut grass. I'm weird like that.

11. Favourite outfit.

Probably a tee-shirt and leggings or jeans, with a scarf and boots.

12. Your fashion icon.

I actually think some of my friends are my biggest fashion icons...

13. Where are you from?

I live in the United States of America, down in the south. I actually do have a southern accent, so you can read this interview with a really stereotypical "Texas voice" if you want.

14. Favoutite Youtuber.

Probably some of those prank videos. Like that guy that did the plastic ball trick, where he filled up his whole house with plastic balls. Oh, and Buzzfeed.

15. Favourite food.

I really like sugar snap peas. They're tasty and healthy. I have nothing to lose.

16. Your favourite hobby?

I love doing theatre and dance! It's so much fun, and I'm always looking for some sort of a creative outlet to express myself.

17. I want to take part in a writing competition but I have no idea of what to write about. Do you have any ideas?

I get the inspiration for my writing from other authors. What I would say is look around and read some good stories, then maybe change the characters around or put them in a different situation. Write what you know. If you don't know what it's like to have your heart broken, don't try and write about it because it won't seem realistic. I don't know what your strengths and weaknesses are as a writer, but just write something you enjoy putting together.

18. Tell me an embarassing story of yours.

I was backstage at one of my shows, Peter Pan, as a matter of fact, and I was sitting in the wings waiting for my cue, when I sneezed and the corset holding my Tinkerbelle wings on SNAPPED! I had about four people swarming around me backstage with safety pins and thread and clips trying to get the wings back on. I've actually got another one, if you want to hear it! I was in my school's production of Elf Jr, the Musical, playing Buddy the Elf, and it was a tech rehearsal. I had to run down about 8 feet of stairs when I slipped and went tumbling down. I'm okay, but it was hilarious. I also got it on video!

19. Do you have pets? If so what are they?

I have two dogs. One is a black lab named Max and the other is a white lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Marley.

20. Last but not least, what's your ideal first date?

My ideal first date would probably be going to a planetarium. I really like to see things like stars and planets, and I think it would be absolutely amazing to share that with someone I love.
