Chapter 13

"Where's Light?" I asked

We were flying over hilltops and grassy fields of south Italy.

"He's on his way, he needs to find his grace first."

"His grace?"

"Yup."

I was confused, I'm no Angel so this stuff is like Chinese to me.

"What the hell is a grace?"

"A grace is an angels power, Light was sealed in stone so his grace left his body making him start to turn human little by little."

"Ah I see, does he know where it is?" I asked

"Yeah, a grace is never far from it's owner."

I spotted the castle in an instant, it was covered in vines and the stone walls were decayed from the acidity in the rain.

"Just like the owner." Seraph murmured

We landed a few feet away from it, we couldn't risk getting caught.

"Do you smell that?" I asked as I sniffed the air

"Oh sorry bout that..."

I hit his arm.

"Your gross, but that's not it."

Seraph sniffed the air too.

"Why does it smell familiar?"

The aroma was strong, it had a light and dark feeling to it...kind of like me and Seraph...

"THE KIDS!" We both said

They got their powers and I wasn't there to see it, but how did they get their abilities? They are still too young to receive any abilities.

"So how the hell are we going to get in?" I heard Light say

"We're working on that."

"Did you find it?" Seraph asked Light

"Yeah, it wasn't easy to find either."

He showed claw marks that were on his ribs.

"What? Did you get into a fight with rabid dogs?" I said laughing

They looked at me seriously.

"It was just a joke, no need for the face."

"Envy is it possible you can summon one of your sisters?" Light asked

"Yeah why?"

"We're going to need one of them."

"Dante!" I came bursting into the study

"Yes?"

"The kids are gone." 

He just sat there reading a book.

"I know, let them go."

I was shocked by his request, I walked up towards his desk, he didn't look up from his book.

"You know they killed four of the guards who were trying to break them apart."

He looked up.

"What?!"

"They were burned alive then exploded."

"That's fucking impossible! They are too young to get their powers." He bellowed

"Well they just proved that theory wrong, do something about it." I said sternly as I walked towards the door.

He slammed his book down.

"One more thing Dante." 

"What is it?" He said annoyed.

"You better kill Olivia." I added.

He looked at me.

"I'm serious." I said then left.

Kill Olivia. She said in such a cold harsh tone, killing Olivia is something that is not that simple for me. If I wasn't in love with her I would've killed her in a heart beat...but I do love her...

"This is some real bullshit..." I whispered to myself.

I grabbed my coat as I headed towards the room in which I kept Olivia in. I entered as a cold breeze welcomed me, the smell of her perfume faded away. She was just hanging there like a lifeless doll, I started to feel quilt as my eyes looked up and down her pale body. So much hatred scared on her body, my hatred. What have I done to her?

"Olivia?..."

She looked up slowly, her eyes were red and puffy, dried up blood resided on the side of her mouth. She was breathing heavily, she was dieing. I ran up to her as she started to shake.

"I'm so sorry." Tears rolled down my cheeks

I uncuffed her as she slowly slid to the floor, I kneeled down as my knife met with her throat ready to slit it. She looked at me as tears rolled down her cheeks, I felt her heart break, she closed her eyes as she lowered herself to the ground.

"Olivia?" I touched her arm.

She was ice cold.

"Olivia..." I cried out

Please don't leave me...please I'm sorry. Her pulse faded away...she was gone, gone out of my life again.

My eyes widened as I fell back.

"Envy what's wrong?!" Seraph asked concerned as he knelt down next to me.

I was without words, a cold feeling washed over me.

"Envy please answer me baby."

"She's...she's..." I stuttered

"What?"

"She's dead...." 

"Who's dead?! Is it Linds?!"

"No..."

"Who then?!" He yelled

"Olivia..." I said looking up at Seraph

He fell back, Light stood there frozen in his place.

"Are you sure?" Seraph asked

I just nodded as tears fell down my cheeks, Light started walking towards the castle. Seraph quickly got up and grabbed his arm stopping him from going any further.

"Where do you think your going?" 

"I need to go get her."

"Why?" I managed to say.

He looked at me.

"She's gone Light..." I said crying more.

"She's not exactly gone, so might as well pull yourselves together now and go inside."

I looked up at him them at Seraph, is he saying that she's still alive? 

"Envy I need to you summon Lust."

"Why her?"

"She's going to be quite a distraction." He smiled

What is he up to? I know he is hiding something from us.
