It's been a few weeks since me and Dante started seeing each other I wouldn't call it dating or anything just an outing between two friends. I know I'm taking a risk seeing but I just can't help myself around him, I want to touch his caramel skin, inhale his scent, what he did to me in the past is in the past. Now everything's different right?...

"Olivia?"

"Yeah?"

"Ice coffee or hot coffee?"

"Ice"

"What kind?"

"Chai tea latte."

"Ok, I be right back then."

"Ok."

I looked around the small park, children playing around with other children. There was this familiar smell in the air, but I couldn't remember from who it was. Surprisingly being in a coma made my senses more sharp then they should be, Dante came a few minutes later with the coffee, damn Starbucks and their long ass lines.

"Thanks." I smiled

We started walking.

"I can't believe you like that stuff."

"It's really good."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

"No it's not."

"Have you ever even tasted it?"

"No..."

I gave him the face.

"Wow."

"What?"

"Nothing."

He laughed

"Your such a dork Dante." I laughed

"So are you."

"Shut up."

We both laughed, we kept walking and talking telling each other about our lives and so on. The familiar scent came back I looked in the direction of the street then back towards the trees there was no one around with that scent. Where was it coming from?

"Oh I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going..."

I looked at the woman who bumped into Dante...my eyes widened as I recognized her face....Arella.

"It's fine."

I looked away.

"Hey have we seen each other before?"

"No I don't think so."

"No I think we dated once." She smiled

"I don't think we did I don't know who you are."

"Oh come on how can you forget me? We made out in this very park." She giggled

"Look I don't know you, now can I please leave with my girlfriend?"

I looked back at them.

"Oh...sorry maybe I confused you with someone else...sorry again, have a good day." She smiled and left.

What the hell was that all about? What is she doing here?

"Well that was ridiculously awkward."

"Um...girlfriend?"

"Well if I didn't say you were she wouldn't have left."

"True."

He smiled at me I couldn't help but blush, he reached out and grabbed my hand as we started walking again. My phone started to ring.
