Pool

Summer, 2016. Their first summer together. He planned for a big surprise and was happy that Maine fell for it. She was thoroughly happy and grateful for his efforts. She thanked him almost everyday the week after their Boracay getaway.

It had been weeks since their Boracay trip and the summer heat was getting intense. After EB, if they could, they would take time to take a quick dip in the pool's condo. Most of the time they would be alone but today, there were some other people who were also in the area.

"Dito lang tayo sa medyo malalim..."

"Bakit? Ayaw mo mag laps?'

"Kaya tayo andito, para magpalamig..not for exercise" he winked at her.

Maine was trying to keep her head above water so she had to keep bobbing up and down to stay afloat. When she got tired, she went behind Rj and wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. He smiled and glanced at her.

"Hmm..." he sighed contendtedly.

"Don't get ideas, Mr. Faulkerson!....alam mo naman that I can't reach the floor....you kept on moving and I was trying to keep up..."

"hehe..." was his naughty reply with an impish smile that showed his dimple more.

She rested her chin on his shoulder as he walked around the deeper area of the pool. Soon, even he could barely touch the floor so he had to go underwater, making Maine release her hold of him and swim a little ways away.

"Halika dito..." he tried chasing after her

"Hahahahaha! Habulin mo ako...." was her reply

"Ah ganon...." he said as he started swimming towards her

Maine tried to avoid Rj several times. He deliberately slowed down and treaded water more just to let her move further away from him. They played this tag game for a while. The pool area was now being filled with her shrieks and their laughter. The other people who were there earlier had (finally) left.

They soon tired out of their game and Maine allowed Rj to "catch" her near the steps of the pool. He grabbed her and hugged her. She put her arms around his neck. With foreheads touching, he gave her a deep, long kiss.

The pool area was shaded pretty well so the water was not as warm when they entered. The wind was now picking up and their bare, wet skin caught the cold draft that was blowing. When Rj felt goosebumps growing on his back, he went down the water, taking Maine with him. They stayed in their embrace with the water just to their shoulders and necks.

"I love you..." Maine said with a sweet smile.

"I love you more..." Rj replied and kissed her again.

Since Maine was shorter than Rj, her instinct was to wrap her legs around his torso when they went down. She felt something....

Rj felt the brush of her pelvis on his front and he smiled.

"What's that?" Maine asked, acting oh-so-innocent, with her eyes smiling..

"Haha! Meet Bruno..." Rj replied with a glint in his now chinky eyes and naughty smile

"Oh....hahahaha! nice to meet you....Bruno?"

"Hahahaha!" chuckled Rj. "Malamig e..."

"So, what do you want to do? Aahon na ba tayo?" she asked

"Uhmmm..." he thought

"Well, medyo purplish na yung lips mo, love...kaya pa?" Maine said.

"Pwede kitang i-formally introduce kay Bruno..." kilay language

"hihi!" was all she could say...

They hugged even tighter and kissed even deeper before deciding to get out of the pool....
