I Can't Believe I Actually Agreed Either

Sunday.

"Wait, so, he knew you weren't a groupie straight up?" Lisa summarised what I'd just told her. She'd stayed the night after we had our second encounter with the boys of Aerosmith. "And he asked you to stay with him?"

"Yeah..." I nodded slowly. "Not to mention that Aerosmith's only here 'til Friday."

"I'm just jealous that Steven told you that he's interested in you. All I got from Joe was the physical side of things." Lisa took a sip of her lemon tea.

"I thought you didn't like all the lovey-dovey connections," I teased.

"Well, no, but, I mean it'd be nice every once in a while..."

---

"Hello?" Lisa beat me to my phone before I could even stand. She leaned back in her chair and raised an eyebrow. "Sure thing." Lisa motioned for me to come over.

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone while Lisa's face was right next to mine, listening in.

"Did you think about what I asked?"

"Steven," I began, "I did, but I still don't have an answer."

There was a short pause before Steven asked me a question.

"Where do you live?" Forward, much? "Tell me and I'll come over and help you come up with your answer."

"What? Steven, no, I-" I was cut off by Lisa smacking my butt. I looked at her weirdly, and she signalled for me to give Steven my address. So, reluctantly, I did.

A couple of hours later, I heard someone at my front door. Lisa was still at my place; I wasn't sure about being totally alone and secluded with Steven Tyler just yet.

I opened the door to a scruffy Steven and he stepped inside and shut the door. He took in his surroundings before sitting on the couch, exactly where I was just sitting, and greeted the both of us nicely.

Steven patted the seat next to him for me to sit down, and I did so. He slung his arm around my shoulders and gave a peck on my cheek.

"I really do want you to stay with me until we leave." Steven stated.

I glanced at Lisa to see that she was eyeing me cheekily. "I think it'd be fun," she said.

"I don't know,"

"What's the problem? Is it so difficult to come with me just for the rest of the week?" Steven asked me.

"I... don't know." I repeated. "I don't even know you,"

"Sure you do; I'm Steven Tyler."

"That's not what I meant,"

"Sherrie," Lisa chipped in, "are you really going to pass up spending a week with Aerosmith?"

"I do have a life," I responded.

"Ouch," Steven mumbled.

"Oh, no, that's not what I- I mean, I have a job and stuff-"

"Just make a decision already," Steven snapped.

"Um... o-okay... I..." I was slightly startled by Steven's abrupt words.

"Aerosmith, Sherrie!" Lisa added.

"Fine!" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

"Great," Steven instantly looked pleased, and his voice relaxed again. He removed his arm from my shoulders. "In that case, go pack some stuff."

I stood up and Lisa followed me down the hall to my bedroom.

"Oh my God," Lisa scoffed. "I can't believe you actually agreed,"

"I didn't mean to," I grunted. I dragged out my purple suitcase from underneath my bed and started filling it with random outfits.

When I finished packing everything I would need, I carried my suitcase back out to the living room to find Steven standing, waiting.

"Finally." He rushed over and took my suitcase from me and left my house.

"Well," Lisa sighed, "have fun with that." She slammed her hand into my back and followed Steven outside.

I fished for my keys in my bag and locked the house up after also stepping outside. I saw Steven at a car parked on the grass outside my house, while Lisa's car was on the driveway in front of the garage.

Lisa called to me as I passed her car, and I backtracked to her window.

"Call me tomorrow," Lisa winked and backed out onto the street, leaving me to get into the car with Steven.

"Come on, baby, haven't got all night!" Steven shouted out. I watched Lisa drive away as I approached Steven's car. Steven was already buckled in and ready to go before I even opened the door.
