Aphmau's POV
I awaken in a dark room, not knowing where I am. I look around and it's pitch black. I can't see where I am, so try to stand up, but I feel like I'm pinned down. It doesn't help that I have a broken heart, so broken it's like a shattered, glass window.
" Aphmau? " I hear, as the room starts to fill with light.
" Yes. "
" Are you alright? "
" No. "
" Aphmau, you can tell me anything. You know that. "
" I would, if I knew who you were. "
" Oh, I'm sorry, I should have known. It's me, Cadenza. " The figure says, as I see Cadenza's face come into view.
" Oh, uh..., hi. " I squeak. " I'm sorry to ask this, but am I pinned down. "
" No. You must be feeling numb then. Zoey had to come and give you medication because you were pricked by something. She didn't want to risk it being poison. "
" Oh. Well, can I have something that makes it easier to walk. I want to go see Levin and Malachi. " I say, as I slowly sit up.
" Of course, I'll be back in a second. " she says, disappearing from the door frame. " oh and there are clothes on the table in the corner for you to change into. " she yells, as I hear footsteps walking away.
I look in the corner , and sitting there is a beautiful purple dress and some black flats. Plus, a black ribbon for a bow and a hair tie.
I slowly get up and walk over. I grab the clothes and change. I begin to put my hair into a fishtail braid. Then, I grab the ribbon and try to put it in my hair, but it's hard because I don't have a mirror.
" There is a mirror by the bed. "
