It was another regular day at the Mystery Shack where Wendy was at her post reading a magazine like always, when he heard banging up stairs. She then saw Dipper running downstairs and out the door of the shack, and Mabel came down after him standing by the door weeping.

Wendy's (POV)

As I saw Mabel weeping, I got up from my post and went to comfort her. I kneeled down, and put my hand on her shoulder. She turned around and hugged me tight. I hugged her back before I asked what was going on.

"Mabel, what the heck happened up there?"

"Dipper is acting weird Wendy, and I can't figure out why."

"Well, how is he acting weird exactly?"

"He's been getting mood swings, and acting really sad, like he doesn't matter to anyone."

I nodded to everything she was telling me. I did find it strange for him to act that way. Being depressed? Mood swings? Acting up? Now Mabel and I can't be the only ones that finds that odd. I let Mabel go, and walked outside. I looked around the shack seeing if I could find Dipper at all.
I finally spotted him sitting on a log, and crying. I wanted to comfort him, but I felt like I should leave him alone for now so I let him go. It's not that I don't care about him, but I think he needs his space. But my nerves got the best of me and I walked over to him. I wrapped my arms around him and held him.

But he was having non of it, and pushed me away. He never did that when I hugged him, now I know something is wrong. He hanged his head and got up from the log, and started to walk away from me. I felt like I should say something to him.

"Hey Dipper, you okay man?"

"Why do you care?"

I was shocked by that statement, how could he say such a thing? I was about to ask but he was already gone. I couldn't believe he said something like that, I knew I should of gave him his space.
