New People ch.1

Rorie's POV
Today is the last day of sixth grade! Finally! I live in a small town and go to the Butler Middle School (BMS).Next year I will go to the Intermediate High School (BIHS)(Picture Above)Tonight Meghan my best friend is sleeping over. We have been friends since the beginning of 6th grade. I don't have a phone but I have an IPod and so does Meghan so we use Oovoo to talk to each other after school. Meghan and I have a few friends but, not that many and there are these girls at school named Sophia,Maura, and Taylor who are just plan out rude. I try to ignore them but it gets to me sometimes. I don't really do anything to them but when they do get in my head I go on Younow or Musiclly and watch this kid who has about 4 to 5k fans named Brandon Rowland. I like Brandon and Meghan likes his brother Hunter Rowland. It's funny too because my sister Mikayla has a crush on their little brother Ashton! Meghan and I ride different buses and live about 15 to 20 minutes apart if you drive. We have some friends at school like Kearstin, Eva, Ava, Taylor, and Zoe. They are all super nice and funny. At school Meghan and I used to have a crush on this kid named Brady but, we don't anymore. Meghan likes this kid named Handson and this other kid named Adam but I don't like anyone. I like to focus more on the people I like that are internet famous like Brandon Rowland and I sorta like Jacob Sartorius but not as much as I like Brandon. I've been grounded for about 2 weeks and I'm going to get my iPod back tonight after school since Meghan is coming over.
At School
Mrs. Robb my teacher came up to me and said "Rorie you're wanted in the office." I said ok and since I'm on the second floor I went down the stairs and in my head I just keep thinking why would I get in trouble in the last day of school! When I got down to the office I was shaking but you couldn't tell. I secretary saw me standing there and said "Mr.Huffman is waiting for you in his office." There are only 2 grades in the middle school which are 5th and 6th grade. Mr.Huffman is the 6th grade principle and Mr.Hutermark is the 5th grade principle. I walked into Mr.Huffman's office and he said "Rorie you are not in trouble." I was happy to hear that! I said "Thank god!" He laughed and said "Their is a new student. Yes it's weird to have a new student on the last day of school but, he lives next store to you and I'm going to have you show him around." I said "Ok, what is his name." He looked at the paper work and said "His name is Brandon and his is getting dropped off today so when he arrives I will send him up to room 207." I said thank you and went back up to my class. My homeroom is 207 that's why Mr.Huffman is sending him their. When I got back to the classroom Meghan came up to me and said "Did you get in trouble?" I told her everything and was surprised to hear her say "What if it's Brandon Rowland!" She was excited but I told her "Meghan that will never happen so don't get your hopes up!" She was only excited because she likes Hunter!
15 minutes later
I'm in writing class and I heard Mr.Huffman say my name from the door way. I got out of my seat and went out into the hall. Mr. Huffman and Brandon Rowland where standing there! I didn't freak out I just kept clam. Brandon looked at me in a weird way. I don't really know if it was a good or bad way. Mr. Huffman introduced us to each other. It was cool having Brandon.
Lunch time
I showed Brandon how to bye a lunch since it's different. He sat with the boys at lunch and of course Sophia and them went up to Brandon at lunch. I walked over to them and said "What do you guys want!" She looked at me then at Brandon and said "What do you mean Lori? I'm just talking to the new kid!" They started giggling and I said "Well my name is not Lori it's Rorie! And leave Brandon alone!" She stood there with her lunch in her hand and dumped her lunch on me! I ran to the bathroom crying I just can't stand her! Soon after I got into the bathroom Meghan came running after me. She got in there and helped me wash the nasty school mashed potatoes and gravy off me. The one weird thing that happened was that the mean lunch lady who hates pretty much everybody came to the bathroom to help me. I think that's the nicest thing she's done all year! After I got all cleaned up I went back to the lunchroom and Mr.Huffman was there talking to Sophia about what happened. Poor Brandon this must be the worst first day at a new school ever good thing it is the last day of school and he wouldn't have to deal with it all summer! I saw Brandon back in homeroom after the whole lunch thing. He hasn't really talked to me all day and he's sorta quite. He sits next to me and the first thing he has said to me all day was "Are you ok? That girl tried to give me her phone number after you left." I looked at him and said "Stay away from her. She not the nicest person you'll meet here." He looked at me and we went back to doing our work.
At the end of the day
Brandon is a parent pick-up so he left before Meghan and I got on my bus. Meghan is riding the bus home with me today. She is going home in 2 days I think. Her parents and brother are on vacation so she is staying at my house. My bus was called and we went out to my bus and got on. My stop is the 5th stop and is at my house. I think Brandon lives in the house on the other side of my tree line because my neighbor that lived there moved to Florida. I live on a corner and I live in a small part of Butler called Herman. It's really nice out here because we live about 10-15 minutes away from town and there is a nice big farm across the street. There aren't a lot of houses out here and no traffic ever! I live in a 3 bedroom house and I share a room with Mikayla my little sister. My little brother gets his own room. He's so lucky! I don't have any pets but I used to have a dog named Rocky. He ran away. I miss him but I'm fine. Meghan has a cat named Mattie and he is adorable! Well I guess you could say I have a pet because my grandma's cat Daisy lives with us. She's adorable too. When we got home my mom was home from work but, my dad wasn't yet. We went up to my room and were on YouTube watching our favorite YouTubers BfvsGf (PrankvsPrank or Jesse and Jeana). When my dad got home we ate dinner and went back upstairs and sorta just stayed on our IPods until like 1 or 2 in the morning and then went to bed.
