*Faith's POV*

"Let's not talk about me. I want to know more about you." Liam was smirking at me.

I tried to seem confident, asking what he wanted to know. "As much as possible." Damn, he just made it 10 times harder. I started by telling him the basics, where I was born, my family, school and stuff.

"Okay, I'm just gonna stop you right there, I don't want the basics, I want what's underneath that."

"Like what?"

"Like how did you become friends with Miranda and Amy? Or why do you always tuck your hair behind your ear when you are nervous?" he started. I never thought a guy would ask about this on a first date. Especially that he would notice small things, that's not normal, right? I started telling him the story of how Miranda, Amy and I became friends, and went on about little stories from our friendship and journeys together.

"You light up when you talk about them, they must mean a lot to you" Liam looked up at me and took another bite of his dessert.

"Of course they do, they are my life" I smiled back. I really do light up when I talk about them. I had been talking for a long time now, realizing this, I got way too quiet way too fast. Liam was a very good listener, and I usually don't talk much, but he kept on asking, so it would be rude of me to not answer. I looked at the time, and we had actually been sitting in the restaurant for two and a half hours. Wow.

"Um, I've got work tomorrow, so if you don't mind, it would be great if you could take med home?" Liam signaled the waiter right away. He was such a gentleman, really. He pulled my chair out, paid for dinner, even though I discussed with him for 10 minutes about it, got my coat, and opened the door for me. It had started to rain, so he lifted his jacket over both of us, both of us laughing. We got over to his car, but Liam groaned. "Damn, forgot my keys inside, I'll be back in two seconds!" he ran back towards the restaurant as I stood by his car, with his jacket over my head.

I was in the middle of my thoughts when I saw a shadow right next to me. "I'm sorry miss, but that was Liam Payne, right?" a tall figure spoke to me. I looked up, but I couldn't see the guy's face. He was wearing a hoody, and it was pouring rain, blocking most of my vision.

"Um, yeah? Do you know him?"

"You could say that", he stood there for a couple of seconds before he spoke again. "Are you two dating?"

A small laugh came from my lips before I could react, "um, no, I don't think so, this is the first time we've went out"

"I see, sorry to bother you miss. Hope you get home safely in this weather" and with that, he turned around and walked away. That was weird, but at least the dude was polite. A few seconds later, the car unlocked itself, and Liam was standing on the other side of the car. I looked over at Liam, and he was wet, like soaking wet.

"And you decided to shower in the rain before you came back to the car?" I laughed. Liam just laughed back at me.

"You look as dry as you could be, so I don't feel bad at all" he smirked at me. "Or was it too scary to stand there by yourself?" We both laughed. This night turned out to be very good.

The rain was pouring, and it was getting more difficult to see the road. Liam was going way too fast for these conditions. I don't know if I should say something or not, cause he seems to be in control... I'm glad it's not a long drive.

When we got back to my house, Liam walked me to the front door, with his jacket over both of us. I unlocked the door and walked inside. Liam stood in the hallway as I took my jacket off, looking me up and down, and was completely quiet.

"Umm, I should probably get to bed" I had to break the silence. Liam smirked at me before he spoke, "I assume you don't want company"

"Your assumptions are most likely correct". I turned around to see Miranda standing at the end of the all. I was a bit shocked at her comment.

"Well then, I had a nice time with you" I started blushing. "Me too". I tried not to sound too excited at his comment. Liam turned around, walking out the door. "I'll see you soon" he said and walked over to his car.

I walked into the living room, and found Miranda sitting on the couch alone.

"What was that about? You're not usually like that?" I referred to her comment.

Miranda looked up at me, signaling me to sit down.

"I'm sorry" she started. "It's just that, I've heard some stuff about this guy, and he doesn't sound like good news. I don't want to see you involved with something bad, and I definitely don't want to see you get hurt"

"What did you hear about him?" I had to ask. The curiosity was killing me. He seemed like a sweet guy, cocky, but sweet...

"It's a long story. Why don't we talk about this during dinner tomorrow, after we both finish work? Both of us need to sleep right now!" Miranda laughed. I agreed with her though, I was tired.

We walked up to our bedrooms, saying goodnight. I changed into something a bit more comfortable and started brushing my teeth. I stood by the window, looking at the raindrops. It was really pouring outside. I turned of the lights, and when I was just about to close the curtains, I stopped, staring out the window. Is that a person?
