Long Distance Love

Oh my long distance love
How I long to see your face
My love you are far as can be
From my loving grasp

Your voice is as smooth as silk
He whispers, his song as sweet as honey

Come back to me
I plead
Oh come home my long distance love
Come home and never leave

I wish upon the stars to come home to you my love
He shouts across the miles between us

I long to breathe in your scent and feel your silky skin against me
Oh my long distance love
You are ever so bittersweet

Oh my long distance love
Without you I am never complete
I hear his tired voice softly say
My long distance love one day
Just maybe one day

As his voice drifts away and the trees softly sway I sigh
Oh my long distance love return to me someday

Oh my long distance love
Seeing you would be ever so bittersweet
As we would have to part yet once again

Oh my long distance love I ache to know that I'll be in your arms
He sighs for as long as I'm alive
