Chapter 4

"T-that's my uncle" Nicole looked down.
(Alex POV)

"You're wHAT!?" I screamed covering my mouthing afterwards. She turned towards me with tears begging to come down her cheeks. "I could tell because of his scar above his eyebrow" she cried pointing at his corpse. She then glared at Four. "You—..you fucking kiLLED HIM YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!" She screamed pushing him to the dirt.

I pushed Nicole off Four. "Nicole! Stop it!!" I yelled at her holding her back. Jakub helped Four up and Four dusted himself off. "Can you fucking use your common sense? We're probably the last people on earth, your 'uncle' was a Roamor, and your best friend alMOST GOT EATEN BY HIM" he yelled at her, making Nicole shrink down with the tears spilling out. "Guys!" I said pushing them to the side. "ENOUGH, IS ENOUGH Goddammit!" I sighed. "Let's just go in the damn trailer, it's getting dark" I said. We all exchanged looks and went in.

The place was dusty but big. Jakub looked at the tank which was still full, thank God. "Should we drive to higher ground?" He said turning on the motor. "Yeah, that's probably best." I said looking in the cabinets. Which was FILLED with weapons, medical kits, clothing and food. We could live in here for crying out loud!! Nicole was still pissed at four. I mean, she's already lost 2 people today, which must be a pain. I sat down next to her and rubbed her back. "listen Nicole remember what I said right?" I said. She nodded wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "Y-yeah..we'll be okay." She muttered. I smiled. "We will, seriously. We've got more people in our group. Which means we're gonna still bear their rotting asses." I laughed. She giggled a bit. I turned to Jakub and he started driving up some hills. (AN: The Hills by The Weekend started playing when I wrote 'Hills' holy shit) (Nicole's POV)

I was frustrated. Why me? Why did I get to lose my family? Why did Alex lose people too? Why did this outburst even happened!? Bullshit! I slapped the couch and stood up to walk to Jakub. He was driving keeping his eyes on the road. "Hey," he said glancing at me. "Are you o-" "Can you not? I just..don't wanna talk." I said turning away. I'm stupid for going up to him in the first place actually. He widened his eyes. "..m'sorry.." He said frowning. Four came up to me. "Why don't you trust us?" He said touching my shoulder. Oh he did NOT just do that. I picked up my katana and pointed it at him. "You- DoNT TOUCH ME" I screamed at his face. He pulled out his gun. "I'm not trying to hurt you, Nicole. I'm just asking a question!" He yelled. Alex came up to both of us. "GUYS ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!?" "Guys! Don't distract me I'm gonna crash-" "I THOUGHT YOU TRUSTED US, AND YOU BROUGHT US HERE FOR NOTHING!?" "I NEVER SAID THAT" I screamed. I started crying. "I JUST—..I miss my family. I miss my boyfriend, I miss my friends. I miss everyone. And I can't trust anyone besides Alex because I don't know who's gonna hurt me more than I am right now." I cried. Four looked at Alex. "Just, leave her." She said. "Nicole, you should get some rest." Jakub said. "I donT NEED IT!" I screamed. He swerved which caused me to fall on him. "Jesus fucking Christ, are you okay??" I said getting off him. He laughed. "Are YOU okay?" He laughed. I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Mkay, um, I'm going to bed I guess." Four rolled his eyes at me. I guess he hates me, I mean, we're probably not compatible. I said goodnight to the rest of them and left.
{Time skip to Alex's POV}
It was morning and I was asleep on the mini couch. Four was beside me, sleeping on my shoulder while Jakub fell asleep in the drivers seat. We were we anyways so there was nothing to panic about. No Roamors to be seen. I yelled out inside the trailer.

"WAKETHEFHCUKUP" I screamed. Four jumped off me. "ROAMO--oh, morning" he said rubbing his eyes. Nicole walked into the main room. "You're loud today" she laughed. I smiled but then saw Four glare at her. "Four, I know she can be a pain, but you're gonna have to deal with it for..probably forever." I said rubbing the back of my neck. He huffed. "Sure, I'll see what I can deal with for now." Jakub woke up and got up. "Is there any food in this trailer?" He said. "Yeah duh, we searched since yesterday and it was packed haha" I laughed.

Nicole sat down on the drivers seat. She just looked at the sky. "Uhh, guys??" She half yelled. We both turned our heads towards her in unison. "Are the clouds supposed to be black??" She pointed and looked towards us. We all looked at eachother and rushed to the windows. "Ho-ly-. SHIT!" Four yelled. "Oh, yeah, we're all fucked" Jakub said nodding his head in disbelief. "Maybe the disease is spreading we need to find masks to block out the diseases from infecting us all" I said. "Masks?" Nicole said. "Where the hell are we gonna find masks? Plus, we can't use those regular white ones. We need like those Black Plague Doctor's masks. And we need to find herbs and spices to block the disease out" she said. "True, true. But where the hell are we gonna find the fucking masks that were dated back from 1346-1350?!" Jakub half yelled. "Just great." Four sighed. "Well maybe there's like these thrift shops and shit. Then we could find herbs that are still fresh?? I don't know!?" Nicole yelled. I sighed and calmed everyone down. "Okay okay! Jakub, get your ass to the drivers seat and drive to thrift shop." I said pointing towards the drivers seat. "Do we have a GPS?" He said. "I have a GPS on my phone" Nicole said "You brought your phone also?" I said. "Yep, plus the charger." She laughed.

Nicole punched in the nearest thrift shops and found plenty. So we went into one and drove off"

"Well, what if they don't have the Doctors mask?" Four said to me. "Well, we can find maybe gas masks?" I said shrugging. He smiled at me with his warm smile. "Yeah, probably" he said.
