Its 7:30 and i need to get Gia up for school. I cant go because i have to stay home and watch the house so nobody can break in.

''Gi, get up'' i said as i was lightly shaking her. Then slowly she opened her eyes and smiled

''Morning'' she said

''Good Morning'' i replied

''Are you going to school today?'' She asked

''No, i have to watch the house but, you'll be fine. Demari is watching you today.'' I assured her. The look on her face wasnt happy.

''Whats wrong?'' I asked

''I mean....... your never going to come to school?'' she asked

''Gia i gotta keep you safe. You dont want that?'' I answered.

''I do, but i want to be safe without all the vampire and werewolf shit!" She said kicking the covers off of her as she got out of bed.

''Chresanto, we dont even spend a day together without worrying about people coming for me. I thought that maybe if you came to school, we could get away for a minute but you always worried about something else!'' she yelled

''The only something else im worried about is you!'' i yelled back. i could see her jump. ''Dont you understand that everything im doing is for you? HUH?!?! Yes Gia i would love to spend time with you but right now aint the time.'' I walked over to her putting my arms around her waist pulling her into a hug. ''It'll get better. I promise.'' i said

She didnt say anything. She just got out of my grip and went int the bathroom. Emotionless.

I just walked away into the bathroom because i didnt want to hear lies early in the morning. He says its going to get better but whats going to get better than vampires chasing me? Yeah... Nothing. I hurried up and got showered and got dressed in a pink "Yeezy Taught Me" hoodie and some gray sweat pants with my pink and gray Jordan's on.

When i was done i walked downstairs to see the pack.

''Hey, you ready?'' Demari asked

''Yeah'' i said plainly

''Demari dont forget what i told you.'' Casey said

''I wont'' He looked at me and smiled. Wtf?

We walked to the car and Demari opened the door for me as i got in the front seat then we drove away.

''So you cool about me watching you right?'' Demari asked

''I mean its not like i have a damn choice anyways'' I said with an attitude.

''Fiesty....I like that'' he winked at me.

I just roll my eyes at him because he was obviously flirting but i was obviously not interested. Out of nowhere i felt a hand on my knee.

''Boy you betta get yo hands off of me!'' i pushed his hand away

''Why? You dont find me attractive?'' he asked smiling

''Look punk, i have a boyfriend so you cant be touching me like that'' i told him

"I know what you have, but we both know who's better" he said smiling

"Yeah whatever. Just stop talking" I said

''Alright If you say so. .But i can tell you liked it" he said looking at me

"Liked what??" I asked

"When I touched you. Senses remember?" He said smirking

I didnt respond i just sank down in my seat and stayed quiet the rest of the drive.

''And then she asked me to change her.'' I said to Casey-Lynn

''And what did you say back?'' she asked

''I told her no because thats a big risk'' I replied

''And what would she risk exactly?'' Casey asked

''What do you mean? She would risk her LIFE! Casey, i dont know if you noticed but i dont want to lose Gia. She's too important to me for that.'' i said

She started laughing ''But you have to let her experience things. Thats the best thing you can honestly do for her. I mean but you dont have to listen to me cause im not your leader so do what you want.'' she got up walked away.

I dont think She understands.. Smh nobody does.

"Are you from here?" Ivory asked

"Nah I'm from Florida" he said

''So how long you been living here?'' Kenzie asked Demari. We were at lunch and everybody was interrogating him.

''For about 3 years'' He asnwered

''Oh thats wassup. You got a girlfriend?'' Lyric asked

''Girl, why you wanna know?'' I asked

''Yeah Lyric, why you wanna know?'' Craig repeated.

''I mean i just wanna know. Dang'' she said

''Well basically i do have a girlfriend. But its complicated'' he said simply

I looked at him crazy knowing good and well Him and Kayln werent even CLOSE to being a couple. Smh dudes these days.

''Guys i'll be right back. I have to go to the bathroom'' i start to get up

''Ok, hurry back boo!'' Ivy called to me.

I walked out of the Lunchroom and headed staright for the bathroom. My head was down looking at my phone because i was texting Chresanto then i felt someone slam into me causing me to fall.

''Oh Shit! My bad shorty'' The boy said as he was picking me up off the floor. I brushed myself off.

''Nah its cool. I can take a hit'' I smiled and started walking away. The boy rushed up to me trying to match my pace

''Whats ya name? I aint neva seen you around here before'' He said

I stopped walking and turned to him ''Im Gia Macklyn and you are?'' i smiled

He smiled back at me ''Im Khalil Sharieff''

''Cute name. We should chill sometime. Shoot, thats what i been needing to do these past couple days.'' i sighed

''I was actually about to ask you to chill with me tomorrow. So we can definately do that. But um, see you tomorrow.'' He started to walk off.

''Wait!'' I called to him

He turned around ''Wassup?''

''You not gonna get my number?'' I asked smiling

''Oh!'' He laughed and walked torwards me and handed me his phone ''Here you save it.''

''Ok'' i took the phone and saved my number in it. We said bye again and i finally went to the bathroom. of course Kenzie cussed me out about taking so long but oh well. Cant wait for tomorrow. I have a good feeling about this.

Sooo whats gonna happen? is Gia and Khalil going to be a couple? OR do you think he's up to something? Will Chresanto turn Gia into a Vamp?? Hmm...Soo many questions. Oh and btw if you dont know what Khalil looks like then search Khalil Sharief in like google or something. I'm on my phone so it's not much I can do.
