Today waking up i feel....cautious. I dont know what Khalil is up to and its making me really not want to be around him. Even though Chresanto said he didnt think Khalil was up to something...deep down inside i knew he was hiding something. In my bed i just layed there. It felt as if i was glued to the bed with a sticky substance that held me there. I didnt move. Until i got frightened by my phone vibrating on my nightstand. It was a text from Khalil.

Khalil: Good Morning, hope you had a good sleep

He was being nice...a little TOO nice. I reluctantly responded

Gia: GM to you too. And i did.

Khalil: Good. Do you trust me this time around?

I waited....I didnt know if i should tell the truth and cause trouble or lie. So i lied.

Gia: Of course i trust you. You seem so genuine its hard not to trust a nice guy like you.

Khalil: Cool :) I'll see you and Chres at school.

Chres? Since when did he call him that? Does he actually think that Chresanto and him will be the best of friends? Anyways, i get in the shower and get dressed in a ''Barbie'' crew neck withback jeggings and my black uggs. 

I took a couple of minutes to admire myself then i went downstairs to the kitchen. When i was down there i only saw my dad.

''Hey dad. Wheres mom?'' I aksed as i took a seat next to him

''She had to go to work early honey. She's working late today'' He answered

I sighed. Just before i was about to open my mouth the talk again,my phone rang.

''Hello?'' I answered

''Yeah,Gia this Mackenzie''

''Oh hey Kenzie. Whats up?''

She sucked her teeth ''Man, we gotta walk to school cause Lyric gave her car away''

''She gave her car away?!?! Why?''

''I dont know, ask her. She crazy for that if you ask me, and I should slap her.''

I sighed ''Well yall can walk but im just gonna ask Chres to pick me up''

''Alright, bye girl. See you at school''

''Okay, Bye Kenzie''

We both hung up. As soon as i got of the phone with Makenzie i didnt waste any time to call Chresanto.

Chresanto: Hello?

Me: Hey babe, can i ride to school with you?

Chresanto: Um, im going to be late because i have to take care of someting. Ask Khalil to take you.

Khalil? Is he serious? Why didnt  he say ask Lyric? Did he already know abou ther car?

Me:No its fine, i'll just walk alone

Chresanto: Gia, I dont want anythign to happen to you. Just ask Khalil ok?

Me: Why? Do you realy trust him this time around? 

He was quiet for a minute

Chresanto: I dont know. But please Gia, just go with him

Me: Ok fine, but why aren't you coming?

Chresanto: Because i have to meet with the pack about something.

Me: Ok well, see you later then?
