She was never who he thought she was
Smiling in the sunlight in Montenegro
Her frail body under his protection
She was broken,
Beaten,
Cold and isolated
He was her savior,
Her murderer
Her everything
She clung onto his life
Sacrificing hers instead
Drowning in murky water on their engagement night
Her screams were painful,
Her reached out hand begging for mercy
Life clinging onto her as if it were a plague
He could not sleep
He could not think
The image of her drowning haunting him forever.

I am back from my trip and I am back to business! While I promised to update Casino Royale today, I hope to update tomorrow! I wanted to hype you up with a new accompanying poem though! I hope you enjoy it because I know this one broke me when I was writing it. (I literally cried.)
Thank you for reading/voting/commenting! It really means a lot to me when I see a comment or a little star and the reads go up :) Please share with anyone who would like it!
Love you lots and stay cool :)
