The bamboo floors of our house were breaking or dirty in places. With 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. My siblings and I all sleep on mats on the floor in our room with 4 dressers around the room with our belongings in it.I walked towards there one in the far left and opened the bottom drawer.The few itemes I had was stored in here. Excatly 4 shirts 1 dress , 5 pairs of pants , one other pair of shoes and my homework and pieces of paper from school. I sadly looked over the test sheet with a red inked F in the corner.
I was actually smart. But I spend all my time during test reading or daydreaming or even imagining other things besides school. So by the time the test is over I just circle a bunch of random answers and fail.
After I changed I walked onto the matted floor of our bathroom and used a rag to wipe the dirt off my face and arms. My hands acted as a brush so that I could make my hair lay flat again. The stairs creaked again as I walked back downstairs.
"Better." my dad said. My dad had always had my back even when my mother acted a bit obnoixus about the most littliest things. I inherited 3 things from my dad in total. 1 height Aki, My dad and I all were extra tall. Am talking 5"1 at 9 years old people. At this time I was 5'8. 2 eyes Bae, Ceri and I all have eye sight issues we have to wear glasses but my family cant afford them right now so we dont.. And the 3rd and final thing hair. Only my dad and I share this our hair is red. Aki , Bae , Ceri , Mom , Sinja and Zakye all had dark black hair. In pictures my hair "appears" black. Bae thinks this is hilarious.
I sat down on the mat with a bowl of rice in hand. Sinja and Bae ran around the living room playing as Ceri layed on a pillow sound asleep. I saw Mom try to act unnoticeable as she slipped out the back door. As I started to eat Aki asked me where I went.
" What do you mean?" I replied.
"Dont screw with me Mali." He said back harshly. Aki is know for being serious.
"I dont know what your taling about." I said as I put down my bowl.
"Mali Hiromi Seo if you do not tell me I am telling Mom." He shot back.
" Wow really had to say my full name?"
"Yep.Now tell me"
"Fine. I was at the border ouskirts."
Aki had somewhat a suprised half not concrened half "Oh My God."
" Are you kidding me?" he said
"Nope. Now let me eat my food." I said
