The Ritual Day

Been locked in my own room with the beastly guard guarding me. I can't even see my father nor Yixing. I wonder what happen to my father but according to Kris, Yixing seems fine since Felicia didn't come to her room since the day Mathilda slap her. I wonder what happen to her.

"Elizabeth."

"Kris, what happen out there?" Kris turn to his human form and walk to me, naked as I grab the clothes and hand to him.

"Yixing is being feed by Felicia Minions but they have no intention to make Yixing one of them." I become furious to the news but I just hope he can stand the pain.

"What about Felicia?" After all, she still my twin. I still care for her.

"She ... didn't even come to her room. But I think you mother ... I mean Mathilda send her to that enchanted forest for her reflection.

"That's cruel." I move to the closet and changes my clothes.

"Help me out."

Kris easily beat the guard and their body keep on standing outside my room. I don't know how did Kris do but at least, Mathilda wouldn't know that I not in my room.

I entered Felicia's room and my blood boiled to the view on her minions feeding on Yixing. One of them on his left wrist and another at the right while the other one nibbling his lips hard till I can see a fresh blood dripping to his chin.

"LET HIM ALONE AND GET OUT FROM HERE!!" They got startled and back off quickly leaving the room without wasting any second. Yixing who lie on the bed helplessly make my heart sunk and I can feel the tears forming in my eyes.

"Yixing!!" I run to him and place his head on my lap and my tears fell on his face which is more pale than the last time we met.

"Yixing." I called him again and his eyes fluttered open. As he met my eyes, a smile forming on his lips.

"You're here?" I nod my head and wipe the tears. His body is so weak that he can't even lift his hand. I noticed that he didn't wear the bracelet.

"Yixing, where is the bracelet?" I asked with my hand touch the cut on his wrist because of the feeding.

"M-Mathilda took it." My eyes widened. Mothe- I mean Mathilda was here. Maybe she is the one who command Felicia's minions to fed on Yixing.

"Have you seen Felicia?" He shook his head weakly to my question. He closed his eyes and breath heavily. I examine his wrist. The blood still dripping from it. Shit!! How can I forgot about that?! I tear my dress and tied it around his both wrist. The moment I turn my head to him, his soft lips meet mine.

He just pressed his lips to mine without any movement. Feeling that he slowly pulled back, I put my hand on the back of his head, prevent him from breaking the kiss. I nibble his lower lips and pulled back to see his eyes that already locked to me.

"Princess, sorry to disturb your romance time but we have to go now." Kris's voice make me startled and tear my eyes from Yixing who is closing his eyes but held my hand tight. I get up as Kris help me to help Yixing to stand and walk out from Felicia room.

The hallway is quieter than before and that bring a chills into my bones. I think Mathilda has started her ritual ceremony.

"Kris, bring him to enchanted forest. I wanna save my dad." I turn and want to run but Kris hold my arm to stop me. his eyes full of worried but i nod my head a bit to convince him beside only me who know where the place is . Yixing is conscious but still weak as he just stare at me with his half closed eyes.

"D-Don't go." Yixing finally spoke. I smile and walk closer to him.

"I'll be back to see you again." Placing a kiss on his forehead make my tears form at the corner of my eyes. Actually, that is the plan. Kris will take Yixing out while I tried to help my dad that is have only 20% to success.

"Kris, do me a favor." I look into his eyes as he nod slowly.

"Whatever happen, never turn back and send him to the safest place." He nod again and that is the sign. We have to say goodbye.

A loud and heavy footsteps make us alert and split up. I run toward the dark hallway which is leading to Mathilda's room. I know she change the place where she held dad.

I walk into her room and directly to the bookshelves. Opening the secret door and there is my dad. Lying at the center of that tiny room with his eyes close.

"Nick." I call him in half whisper.

"Nick! Wake up." Once again and his eyes fluttered open.

"Hey beautiful." He greet with a smile. I return his smile and hug him.

"We have to get out of here." I move to the chain on his leg and tried to unlocked the the padlock.

"I can't." He claimed.

"Yes you can. We can!"

"No! You have to go. She'll be here in a minute now." I look at him in confusion. Ignoring his words I run out to find the key. That when I heard a footsteps walking fast towards here. My heart be fast and run back to the secret room and closed the door.

"You have to hide." His voice become hardened. I shook my head but my knee trembling to the fear I hold.

"Now!" He half yelled which I never heard.

"But Nick! ... "

"Please, for the first and the last time. Let me protect you as your father." My eyes widen and I run to him to hug his body.

"You know??" I whisper.

"Of course I know. How could I didn't recognize my daughter?" Rather than question, that is actually sounds like a statement.

"Can you .. for once ... call me dad?" his voice is weak but firm. I heard voices talking and yelling at the room next to us but its not Mathilda voice. Sounds like Felicia.

"I will call you dad everyday if we get our here alive... daddy." I smile and embrace him tight. I didn't care about the noise at the other room.

"Thank you beautiful. I love you."

"I love you too dad." His assuring smile make me sigh in relief.

"What are you doing here??" Felicia's voice make me cringe. She's with the man in full length black robe with his face covered.

"I should ask you that!" I walk closer and stare into her eyes.

"You betrayed our family and ..... "

"Pffft~" she cut me as she snort. I got annoy but remain calm as my eyes flickered to the man who standby next to her.

"I didn't betrayed our family but you are!! Mother raise us and you being bitch by making all this things worse!!" She yelled. I didn't even flinch but snickering.

"She is not my family! Dad is my family who has been held here after that woman killed our mom!!" I shoved her out of anger and she suddenly shows her fang. A sign that she is mad at me. Her eyes becomes red and her nails getting longer than usual.

"Enough!" The man finally spoke.

"Bring this guy and our job done." I look at them back and forth in confusion.

"What job??"

"Why should we tell you that?" She push me hard and I fell on the floor with a loud thud. I try to stand up but Felicia place her foot on my stomach. I watch that man drag my dad who is groaning in pain. Holding the pain that is shoot from my stomach, I send my death glare to Felicia which is smirking above me.

"You gonna regret this Felicia!" I snap at her and she give me a slap. Heavy slap on my cheek. Twice and repeatedly until I lost my conscious. Everything is dark and the last thing I heard is my father's voice calling my name that is become far away and suddenly quiet.
