A/N: WHHQ is proud to present our first spoof book! We hope you enjoy our incredibly terrible advice, as we tell you exactly how to be cliche! Without further ado, Chapter One!

Protagonist: (Main Good Guy)

When writing a fanfic, you must make your main character invincible! And you are most definitely not allowed to give them an actual reason for not dying, such as Lionblaze has. You must make sure that your main character cannot be injured, killed, lose any lives (if they're a leader), get sick, or even get a thorn in their paw! Your protagonist must be invincible at all times!

Antagonist: (Main Bad Guy)

When writing about the villain of your book, you must make absolutely sure that he/she stays alive until the very end, to allow your protagonist to end the book by killing him/her heroically. Antagonists are also forbidden to get sick, get old, lose lives (if they are leaders), sustain injuries, trip, or even scratch their muzzle, so make sure that your antagonist doesn't fall into harm's way before your main character can kill them.

That One Elder:

So you can all probably guess what this one is. Whenever you make a certain elder, that elder is not allowed to die. Ever. It doesn't matter if they're blind, deaf, have no teeth, are furless, and used to go on patrol with Rock's grandmother, that elder MUST. NOT. DIE.

The Medicine Cats:

When you create a medicine cat, make sure that you like them, because medicine cats can never die! We don't care how old they are or if they can even move, but your medicine cats are forbidden to retire or die. Also, medicine cats magically became immune to all of the diseases that they treat! So your medicine cats can't ever get sick! They're made out of steel as well, so it's literally impossible for a medicine cat to be injured, even in battle. Therefore, you should never attempt to kill off a medicine cat, because it's quite impossible.
