The clouds floated by my window peacefully, relaxing me further into my chair.
I turned on my phone, sighing deeply when I saw my lock screen, my boyfriend. Nathaniel Kirk Garner.
He made me put him as my screensaver, him putting me as his.
He said that when we meet we can take some selfies to replace them with.

Of course I'm excited but online it's easier to make yourself look better. Skinnier, prettier, have a better personality, make yourself smoother at talking to people.
In person the freckles covering my face are more visible,
my skin is dry looking.
I have a 'muffin top' as they're more commonly known, I have fat on my thighs and arms, I'm pretty much flat chested if I'm being honest with you.

"Ladies and gentlemen if you will please all be seated with your seat belts secure, we're preparing to land at LAX. We hope you enjoy your stay and thank you for flying with us." The air hostess smiled her well practised smile and made her way towards the front of the plane.

I wiped the sweat forming on my brow, fidgeting with my fingers as a sudden feeling of nausea passed through me.
I'm a nervous wreck.
In an hour or two I will be in my boyfriends apartment after meeting him for the first time in person. What if he doesn't like me and it's awkward? What if he ends up being a fuckboy or doesn't like the way I look and is disappointed?
Oh Lordy lord.
If there is a god up there, be with me in my time of need.

I walked down the stairs leading off the plane, the cold night air nipping at my bare arms and legs. Would you judge me if I told you I wore grey comfy shorts, a tank top, bed socks and some trainers on a plane when I was going to meet someone I wanted to make a good impression on? Oh well.

Luckily I'd remembered to apply makeup before we landed, my hair was in a messy bun but it didn't look too bad.
I got my luggage off the conveyor belt and made my way to where people were standing holding signs with names on.
I swallowed the lump in my throat. I've never been one to care about first impressions but suddenly it was the most important thing in the world.

I frowned, not being able to see him anywhere. Obviously I know what he looks like. Other than the countless 'mugshots' he sends to me on snapchat and the YouTube videos and FaceTimes we've had I would look through his Instagram when he wasn't replying because he was busy or asleep.
When I say it like that it sounds creepy...

When people started to leave and the room became less crowded I managed to spot him in a corner, my heartbeat pounding in my chest. Though he didn't look very happy, he looked nervous. Glad I'm not the only one. Two people I recognised to be Ethan and Grayson Dolan were calming him down.

After a few moments Grayson noticed the exiting people and his gaze met mine. I smiled nervously. He turned back to Nate and Ethan and said something, all of their attention turning to me. I quickly diverted my gaze and looked down at my bag and started walking in their direction.
I've talked to Ethan and Grayson many times, obviously since they're two of Nate's best friends.

I was cut short by someone picking me up and spinning around before placing me on the ground, two hands falling on my shoulders.
"Hi." He grinned. I took a moment to take a good look at him. Damn papi. You is one fine specimen.
"Hello Nathaniel." I smiled back, hugging him again.

I looked over to the twins who were filming us on their phones.
"This is going straight on my story." Grayson winked. I greeted them both. They all look so much better in real life. Which is hard to believe is possible, I know.

I shivered as we went back outside. We started walking through the car park to Nate's car. "Here, put this on." Nate handed me his jumper. It was baggy and warm and comfortable. It felt like home, and now I can officially say I'm a cheesy ass motherfudger.

"I have this whole two weeks planned out but the first thing we're doing is going home, ordering a takeaway and cuddling." How is he so confident? I'm jealous.
"Sounds perfect." And it really was.
