The Mysterious Kid

Lila's POV:

I slept peacefully on my bed. Cuddling in the soft blanket. Then the clock stroke 10:24 a.m. I yawned tiredly. I walked downstairs and poured milk into my bowl. Then threw Rice Krispy's into it. I stirred it all together until it turned soggy. I took a big bite and slowly swallowed. My phone started to buzz wildly.

"Hello....." I moaned.

"Hey Lila!" My Uncle Tom said happily.

"Looks like someone is in a good mode," I said smirking.

"Yea, because I know you can't refuse this offer!" Uncle Tom said sneakily.

I tilted my head slightly.

"What do you mean Tom Tom?" I asked using his nickname.

"I mean my new client is........" He mumbled.

"Who is your new client?!" I asked excitedly.

Tom Tom worked for a bunch of stars around Hollywood and book them for stuff.

"Please tell me, Tom Tom!!" I begged.

"Look, all I'm saying is his- oops..." He started.

Well now I know it's a boy.

"Um, well IT'S parents," he began.

I laughed. He called him a 'it.'

"Tom Tom I know it's a boy. You can say he," I told him.

But he was quiet for a while.

"Well um... Let me continue. So it's parents are going on a vacation and they can't trust it to stay home alone, all by itself," he said chuckling.

I bursted into laughter.

"Oh Tom Tom! Fine I will babysit the kid. But I hope the parents pay me," I said demanding.

He laughed.

"Don't worry sweetheart they will. Love you bye!" He said.

"Bye!" I said clicking end on my iPhone.
