Chapter 2

I woke up . Everything was still blurry. All I could see were two people sitting on a chair next to the bed I was laying on. I could only recognise one person's face, it was my mother. The other seemed familiar but I couldn't recognise it yet. I could hear both of them talking.

"Sweetheart you really don't have to stay here you know that right?"

I could recognise my mother's voice.

"I know but most of this is my ..."

I couldn't hear the rest. My mother then turned to me and saw that I was awake. She came closer and the other girl stayed back. My view was getting better and better but I still couldn't see the other person's face.

"Where am I?"

I asked.

"You are in a hospital sweetheart, you broke your arm"

Answered my mum. I looked down at my arm that was hurting to see a cast.

Great,

I thought,

Now I can't even try to stand up to Seb.

"It's this lovely young lady that called the ambulance and me and stayed with you the whole time"

My mother said pointing to the girl.

"What did you say your name was again sweetheart?"

She turned and I could finally see her face.

"Suzy"

She was so beautiful that I suddenly fell in love with her. We finally got out of the hospital six hours later.

"I'll go get the car."

Said mum and left me alone with Suzy.

"I'm really sorry about what happened at school"

"Yeah about that, why did you stay here the whole time? I mean you really didn't have to."

"Well, I..."

"Come on you two get in the car."

Said mum. We got in the car and drove to Suzy's house. I walked her to the door.

"Well thank you anyways."

I said.

"Your welcome" 

I wanted to say something so that I'll see her again and I was about to but then I remembered, I am just a nerd. She would never want to go out with me. So I walked back to the car.

"Hey! Would you want to go watch a movie sometimes?"

I turned around.

"You mean together."

She nodded.

"Of course"

I answered back

"It's a date then"
