"I'm so sorry Mari lashed out towards your brother!" I whisper to Matthew.
"It's fine,he deserved it." Matthew says reassuringly. Ever since Mari slapped Alfred everyone has been tense,well almost everyone. Mari has returned to normal and was now playing her game boy while Ivan watched and hummed happily. I sigh and notice a sign saying that there was a rest stop in a mile,man I really need to pee...
"Hey Mariana, can we stop at the rest stop? I ask
"Sure,I think we could all us some fresh air."
As soon as we stop I swing open the door and run towards the rest room,sweet relief. After I finish up my business I walk out of the restroom to see that everyone is sitting in the grass in a circle,laughing.
The uncomfortable tension has subsided,at last!!
