Stars, i wish that i could see them again, but the truth is I'll probably never get oit of here. Especially now that I'm alone. Crest, I see her, her face crinkling as she lets out a laugh. Her natural brown to blond ombre hair falls across he shoulders. I sit down, tears stream down my cheeks. Im alone, all alone. "Crest," i whisper.

"Nola," i hear Crest whisper back. Surprised, i jump to my feet. My mind races, as does my heart. I stand there shocked, hoping for a miracle. I feel a tingle on my arm as something drips on it. Puzzled, i stare at it, it's thick and red. I immediately know its blood. I look up to see that the section of stone above me is covered in it. Was that there before? It couldn't have been. I stare at the blood, its a mirror and i see myself. My eyes are a bloody shade of red, instead of thier bright blue. I watch my eyes go green like Crest's, then back to red.suddenly a shiver crawls up my spine.

"Crest." I whisper again, this time without a response. Maybe i was hallucinating, but while looking at the blood i realized its type O- just like Crest's. Suddenly there's thousands of wings flapping. I can tell the winged creatures are far away, but i don't take my chances. I gather my stuff (including my courage) and head out. Sprinting till the flapping fades. I stop and take a breather, leaning againt the wall for support. Suddenly a small photo falls out of my pack. I stare at it longingly, its one of those silly photo booth pictures. Crest wears a pink scarf, a cowboy hat, and ridiculously huge glasses while i wear a mustache, a beard, and a pink wig that only covers half my red hair. My hair, like Crest's is naturally ombre, but mine goes from rose red to orange. I stuff the picture in my pack. It seems like years since then but, its only been 3 months. I look up at the ceiling begging for Crest back, but all i see is stars.
