Paper Work

After a couple days I was released but they had to keep Luke for an extra day. Since he ways so much compared to an average baby he has to stay to be tested for any issues. I am on bed rest since the birth did damage to my body. Today everyone was visiting.

Me- Come in. 

I left them a key at the front door since I couldn't get up to answer it. 

Me- Ugh I'm a mess right now. 

Anna- You still look hot. 

She giggled. 

Nick- When does Luke come home?

Me- Tomorrow. 

Zach- I can't wait. 

Me- You have to pick him up. 

Zach's eyes lit up. 

Zach- Seriously!

Me- Yeah. 

I giggled.

Later on we ended up getting a call from the doctors. 

Me- Hello?

Nancy- Yes.. Maleah?

Me- Yes. 

Nancy- Well your baby is doing fine. You can actually come and pick him up if you would like to.

Me- Is it okay if my boy- If the father comes?

I corrected myself. 

Nancy- Yes. He just has to sign some paper work. 

Me- Alright.

Zach's POV

I am so excited. Nick and I rushed over to the hospital and quickly signed in. 

Nancy- Are you the father? Uh.. Zachary Reed Clayton? 

Me- Yes. 

Nancy- Alright here are the papers. 

Me- Ok. 

I started on the paper work. 

Maleah's POV

Anna and I stayed at the house together and had girl talk. 

Me- So...

Anna- What do you mean so? I heard what you said on the phone. 

Me- Uh... what do you mean?

I tried to sing to distract her. 

Anna- Ohhh.. when you nod your- Wait. No. You were about to call Zach your boyfriend. 

Me- Not true. 

Anna- Yes true. 

Me- Fine...

Anna- You know you like him. 

Me- I don't know.. I need some more time.

Zach's POV

Me- Here you go. 

I handed her the papers. 

Nancy- Come on back. 

She led me into a room with all the newborns soundly sleeping in little beds with their names hanging above. 

Me- There he is!

Nancy- SHH!

I stepped back as she jumped at me. 

Me- Geez..

Nancy- Here ya go. By Lukie pie. 

Me- Uhh.. ew. 

I sighed walking out. 

Me- We won't call you that bud.. don't worry. 

I whispered looking down at his precious face.

I placed Luke down in his seat and adjusted the mirror so I could see him. 

Me- We need to go buy diapers and all the stuff he needs. 

Nick- Alright.

Maleah's POV

About an hour later Nick and Zach walked in with Luke. 

Zach- I bought diapers, bottles, milk, baby food, and pacifiers for him. 

Me- Thank you so much..

I'm glad he decided to help so much. 

Nick- Well I'm exhausted lets get going. 

Anna- Ok. Bye Leah! Bye Lukie!

Zach- Oh come on. I told him we wouldn't call him that. 

He said picking Luke up. 

Me- Bye guys!

Zach- I think I'm gonna stay. 

Me- Oh.. alright. 

I said pushing hair behind my ear. Anna whistled and shook her brows before closing the door. 

Me- Ugh. 

Zach- Mind if I stay in here? I wanna be able to get Luke if I need to. 

Me- Uh. Yeah, no problem. 

Since it was late Zach helped me to the bathroom and I changed. 

Zach- You act like I haven't seen you naked. 

Me- I just had a 10 pound baby... you should see how many stretch marks I have. 

Zach- Lemme see then. 

I felt vielated but I allowed him to view them. 

Zach- I don't care about a little baby weight. 

He said pulling me close to him. 

Me- Uhh.. I.. we should get to bed. 

Zach- Yeah. He said letting go of my back side. 

I threw on a shirt and laid down as Zach got Luke ready for bed. He removed his shirt and I couldn't help but stare. I hid my face in the blanket as he laid down next to me. 

Zach- Night..

Me- Good night...
