John and Joanne made it back to the hallway where their rooms were just as Angie made it back. They were all three winded and shaky. Angie ran up and hugged Joanne.
"Thank God you guys are here." Angie said.
"Yeah." Joanne replied. "You wouldn't believe the stuff that has happened to us."
"Tell me about it." Angie told her, catching her breath.
At that moment, Jack came running up to them. He was breathing heavy. He was leaned over with his hands resting on his knees.
"You okay?" John asked.
Jack shook his head no. Then, he spoke while he was still breathing heavy. "No. You wouldn't believe this, but I just saw Lisa." He paused to catch his breath a bit more, then he continued. "She was in the mirror, then she was in front of me. I thought I found her, but then she was," Jack stumbled on his words. "it was like she was dead." He finished as he was still catching his breath.
"We saw her too." Joanne told him. "We also saw a little girl." She paused for a minute. "She was facing the wall in a room, then when she turned to face us, she had no face."
"I saw a little girl too." Angie chimed in. "Once before Steve disappeared. Then, I saw her again. It was right before I saw Steve, or what I thought was Steve." She started to break down "It couldn't have been him. It just couldn't" Her voice trailed off.
John, looking at all of them spoke. "We need to get out of here."
"We can't just leave them here." Angie said.
"We won't." John replied. "We'll bring back help."
"Okay." Angie said, fighting back tears.
At that moment, demonic voices filled the air. "We are two. We'll soon be three. By the end, in Hell we'll all be." The voices sounded as if they had been demonic versions of Lisa and Steve.
The lights went off, and a scream filled the air. When the lights came back on, Jack was gone.
"Oh my God!" Angie cried out. "We're all going to die!" She began to run down the hall.
"Wait!" Joanne yelled out as her and John ran after her.
Angie turned a corner, and they followed right behind her. When they got there Angie was nowhere to be found. There were no doors or windows in that area. So, where could she have gone? What could have happened to her? Joanne had those questions running in her head.
John spoke, snapping her back into reality. "We need to keep going."
Joanne nodded in agreement, and they continued to make their way for the stairs.
