The room was dark. Jack and Lisa were already in bed. Lisa was lying on her side. Jack was next to her, rubbing his hand on her upper arm. He chuckled slightly.

"What?" Lisa asked, turning to face him.

"I was just thinking about the camping trip we took last year." Jack replied, smiling at her.

"Oh Lord." Lisa said, covering her face with her hand. "What a trip that was."

Jack rubbed his hand along the side of Lisa's face. "It was a good trip."

Grabbing Jack's hand, she leaned her head slightly as if she were leaning it closer to his hand. "It did have some great moments. Didn't it?"

It was a warm, sunny spring day. The six friends had finished hiking through the woods to their camp site. It was a very nice area with beautiful scenery. There were trees as far as the eye could see and plenty of trails to hike. There was a river next to the camp site. It was a great place to spend a vacation.

"What a way to spend spring break." John said.

"Yeah. In an amazing place like this." Jack added.

"Time with close friends." Joanne tossed in. "The people we love."

They all agreed and group hugged. Looking around, they all took in the sights and sounds of the woods they were going to spend their spring break vacation in.

"What do we do now?" Jack asked after they finished setting up camp.

"Why don't you guys go fishing, and catch us some dinner." Lisa replied.

"Okay guys, let's get to it." Jack said.

The boys grabbed their poles and walked over to the river. The water was fairly calm. It was crystal clear and beautiful. Fishing there was peaceful and relaxing. The boys found themselves enjoying it very much. The girls had decided to join them shortly after.

"How's the fishing?" Angie asked.

"Haven't caught anything yet." Steve replied, leaning over slightly to kiss her.

"Hey guys, I got something." Jack said, starting to slip. "Shit!"

Everyone laughed at Jack when he stood up, drenched from head to toe.

"Here, babe." Lisa said, extending her hand as she giggled. "Let me help you."

"Thanks." Jack said as he pulled her in.

Lisa yelled at Jack as she stood up. "You jerk!" Then she laughed as she moved the wet hair away from her face.

While everyone laughed, Jack wrapped his arms around Lisa's waist and smiled at her. "I love you."

Wrapping her arms around Steve's neck and moving in closer, she smiled back. "I love you too."

Then, they both leaned in and kissed passionately.

Lisa couldn't help but smile when she thought about it. "That's one of my favorite memories."

"Mine too." Jack said as they cuddled closer.

Suddenly, there was a blood curdling scream that echoed through the house.

"Oh my God!" Lisa shouted. "Was that someone screaming?!"

"Yeah." Jack replied. "Maybe we should go get everyone and check it out."

"Okay." Lisa reluctantly agreed.

After they had gotten dressed, Jack opened the door and stuck his head out. Looking around and seeing nothing, they both walked out into the hall.
