Thalia's POV

This is the second day of the training, and I thought things would be better than the first day training with Artemis. She had trained me to set up traps and hide myself " This is the best way to keep yourself alive and you can wait for the best chance to attack. " Well, I am confident that I won't die in this game. What can be worse than a seriously scary man-eating monster?

I met other eleven demigods in the dining pavilion and everyone were tired. Even Leo who is always hyper seemed like he was chased by a dozen of hell hounds for the whole night. (A/N I know, bad description...) I suddenly felt I was lucky training with Artemis.

After breakfast, I walked up to the Half-blood Hill with Annabeth, Katie and Piper. Piper couldn't even speak a word since she had practised charm speaking for a whole day. And she finally made the whole field of strawberries grow faster, but the consequence was that she cannot speak a single word after that. She carried a note pad and a pen so she can write down what she wanted to say.

"I've gave her some of my mother's special tea for sore throat, usually it works immediately but somehow the damage of her voice was too big that she have to wait for at least one day to speak" Katie said with a sympathetic look on her face.

"Do your mother have any secret recipe for food or tea to relieve pain and tiredness? I really need that." Annabeth asked with a hopeful look.

"Well, if there are anything like that, I would not be that tired. But there are only tea to relieve stress."

"Well, I am always stressed, so I would like to try some. " Annabeth sighed.

And we arrived on the top of the hill. The gods were already there. The result of the training partner was settled.

Me: Zeus

Jason: Hades

Percy: Athena

Annabeth: Artemis

Piper: Dionysus

Leo: Apollo

Katie: Hermes

Clarisse: Ares

Will: Hephastus

Nico: Poseidon

Travis: Aphrodite

Pollux: Demeter

Oh my gods! Zeus is going to train me! So I followed him to the woods.

What is he going to teach me? I thought when we were heading deeper and deeper into the forest. Suddenly he stopped. "Thalia, you know Jason can fly, right?" I nodded and he continued to talk.

"Actually, what I am telling you is that you actually have the same ability and your power might even be greater than Jason. Since you could summon lightening whenever you need it but Jason can only affect the weather when he's in a bad mood."

I can fly? Is that a joke? But my father's eyes stared at me and I knew he was serious. "But I am afraid of height." I tried to find excuses to end this topic, I never wanted to learn how to fly.

But then a giant eagle appeared from nowhere and grabbed my shoulders. The next thing I knew was my feet weren't on the ground and the eagle bought me higher and higher. "Do you know how eagles teach their children to fly?" Zeus shouted from bellow. Then I knew what would happen. "No, no, no. Don't drop me. "But the eagle didn't seemed to notice that. And in a sec, I was free-falling in the air.

"Ahhh..." I screamed as loud as I can, but I kept falling.
