Literally my life is beaches every single night, messy buns and Christmas lights. Lol, and shoutout to all those people who know that song.
Xoxo Daniella.Reign.
The rest of the school day was torture. Endless classes, obnoxious people, and gossiping. Right now, everyone's talking about the so called 'Canadian Player'. Like seriously every guy in my school is a player, well except Talon and his nerds.
Speaking of Talon...
"Hey T, are we going back to my house to study?" I pull Talon to the side of the schools entrance.
He winces at my hold, but smiling slightly "Yeah, if you want. What are we going to work on?."
"Math? English?" I suggest putting my hands in my hoodie pocket.
Talon nods "Let's do English"
"Do you have a car?" I ask. I've never really seen Talon with a car. "You can carpool with me if you want."
"Thanks!"
We walk in silence to my mothers run down Toyota, I honestly can't wait to get my own car. I trudged my sneakers in the pure white snow. My car is the only source of warmth I can ever get.
I glance up at Talon once we've reached my car, he looks distressed. He's usually happy. I don't bother asking him why though, I guess I'm just selfish, I would be asking him why he looks sad when I'm mentally depressed.
Once we reach my home, courtesy of my mothers slow car. There are three cars parked in the driveway. The Jeep and BMW I know is for my family, but there is a rather expensive looking Porsche next to the Jeep.
I only choose to ignore it though. Pushing the front door open.
"You can hang your coat over there" I point to the rack next to Talon.
He smiles before turning to take his checkered jacket off. I don't think I noticed before, but I'm noticing now. My house smells like....chocolate?. And there's a lively chatter coming from the living room.
"Welcome home honey!" My Dad gets up from the couch, welcoming me with a hug.
I sink into his embrace and force a smile "Uh hey Dad" I look over to my mum who is seated next to a woman with very blonde hair "Hey mum" I look over and nod to the strange lady. She smiles and nods back.
"Oh, hello Talon." Dad says acknowledging Talon.
"Hi Mr Wesley" he replies.
My father pushes me forward, more into the view of the visitors we have. "Reign, this is Mr and Mrs Forrest. They are the owners of the company my business is now working with." Dad explains, tentatively holding my shoulders, a wide grin across his face. "Everyone this is my daughter Reign."
The man, Mr Forrest, had hair so white it looked fake. It didn't make him look old. It just made him look mean and brutal. His wife, looked like a whore in my opinion.
I faked a smile at the both of them, exchanging greetings.
"You know my son goes to your school." Mr Forrest explains looking up at me. He wore this black suit that suited his disheveled smug look on his face.
