"Cassidy, we are here." my father says as the car we are in pulls up to a huge wall. The gates open, and I see huge buildings, and signs everywhere. As the car passes a section of the wall, I see posters advertising rewards for the capture of Golds and Silvers. I narrow my eyes at each passing poster until the car stops at a huge house at the center of the city.

"Here is the Capitol House." My father says as he climbs out of the car. "Here is where all government business is conducted, and Caesar Dracon and his officials live in the Capitol Palace." I grimace at the idea of the Atarian dictator, and follow my father into the building.

"Each of the heads of departments has a wing in the Palace. There are 60 wings. One for Caesar Dracon, fifty-seven for the department heads, and two meeting chambers." I nod, and follow my father as he walks into an elevator.

"Where is your wing?"

"Near Lord Dracon's wing." I nod, and the elevator stops on the fifteenth floor. As soon as my father and I step off the elevator, a young man is walking towards my father with a bunch of papers.

"Ah, Jonah." My father says with a smile as the young man walks closer," Jonah this is my daughter Cassidy St. Claire. Cassidy, this is Jonah Dracon." Jonah sticks his hand out for me to shake, but I just stare at it as though the hand is a poisonous snake. Jonah gets the hint, and drops his hand. Jonah and my father talk for a few more moments before my father turns to me.

"I have to go to a meeting Cassidy, so Jonah has offered to show you around the Atary City." Needless to say, the look on Jonah's face said that he didn't offer, my father is forcing him to take me. We both glare at each other, and my father gives us both a reassuring smile.

"So, where are we going first Oh Mighty One?"

"Look, your dad is my boss, that is why I am taking you anywhere."

"Thank you for your generosity." I say as sarcastically as possible. Jonah glares at me, and we get onto the elevator. After we get to the bottom, we walk outside. I wait for a car to pull up, but Jonah starts walking away from me.

"Thanks for showing me around the city." I call to Jonah's retreating back. He sighs and turns around.

"This way." Jonah said as he rolled his eyes. I grumble and walk towards him. /we walk around the edge of the Capitol Palace, and I see a huge stable.

"Are we riding horses?"

"No Cassidy, we aren't riding horses, we are just coming to the stable because I want to shove you into horse muck." I raise an eyebrow.

"Wow, is that a sense of humor I see?" Jonah gives me a small smile, and walks into the stable.

"Giovanni?" Jonah calls out.An older man comes around the corner with a saddle.

"Jonah?"

"Giovanni, this is Cassidy St. Claire. Cassidy, this is Giovanni Dracon."

"Hello. Are you-?"

"I am Jonah's uncle." I nod, and Giovanni takes my hand and shakes it. Jonah walks over to a horse, and brings it out of its stall. Jonah and Giovanni talk for a minute before Giovanni hands Jonah a saddle, and goes and gets a horse out of a stall. Jonah straps the saddle onto his horse, and Giovanni leads a gray horse over to me.

"This is Storm. He's a gelding." Giovanni says as he grabs a saddle hanging on the wall. "Do you know how to ride?"

"No, but I'm a fast learner." Giovanni smiles, and holds out a hand.

"Okay, put one foot in the stirrups." I grab the hand that Giovanni offered me, and put one foot into the stirrup like I was told to. "Grab the reins." I do that, and pull myself up onto the horse.
