Part 4

The Change of Heart

It was Wednesday, and the party was in two days. I was excited though I remembered Liam and Jake's argument.
I did like them both, but one of the two would be disappointed after I went out with the one instead of the other. A week after I met Liam, we also started to get close. We both thought soccer was cool, we both loved Batman more than Superman. It was either Take or Tiam (our ship names) and half of my friends were going for Tiam while the other half went for Take. I got ready for school and put on a floral skirt with a small jacket and a skirt with flower stockings, with brown boots. I put a black choker, and a ring with a flower-ish jewel. Liam texted me he was outside. I grab my bag, and put a Nutella Sandwich in my lunch bag.
I grabbed my keys, and slowly walked out the front door. As I was heading toward Liam, he said something about the party and having a date. "So, would you be my date to the party?" "Sure, but won't Jake be upset?" I questioned "He won't mind he's over you." "Okay," I told him.I mean I was kinda upset he had gotten over me in a few weeks and hadent even talked to me, and it made me upset.

It was 1st period and Jake saw me and Liam walking together. He had a upset look on his face. Sadly,we had the same class together so we could talk. "Hey Jake." I smiled slightly noticing he had a girl at his right which made it frown automatically. He gave me a cold stare as the girl next to him gave me a 'jealous- much?' type of smile. We sat in our assigned seats, but I noticed Jake's new best friend was jealous. "Jake why are you mad at me ? I said while he had an annoying look on his face. "You lied to me, you said you didn't want to ruin our friendship .But instead your walking and laughing with Liam like a couple would." I widened my eyes, "No, No, No. We're not a couple, he was just walking me to school to see if I was ok. And I thought you were over me" "Whatever I don't feel like talking right now"he said.

"How can I prove to you that we're not a couple? He thought for a while, finally he decided and said "If you meet me near the cafeteria I'll tell you." "Okay?"
It sounded simple but there was probably a reason he wanted to meet me later on, and I had no idea why. Isaac was quiet while Mr. Harris talked about Bartholomeu Dias' Discovery I knew a lot about it since I had a project on him.

" What did Dias discover in the southernmost part of Africa? I didn't see anyone raise their hand so I raised my hand, and he nodded after me sad, "He discovered Cape of Good Hope, while trying to find a route to India." "Correct. Mr. Harris went on with his lesson.

After Class...

"Go on a date with me," said Jack. "W-what? I gave Isaac a surprised look as he had a serious, but alluring face. "You said you'd do whatever you could if I forgave you." Isaac said, trying to hide his grin. "Fine, just one date."

I walked into lunch and I saw Liam, Erica, Elizabeth, Allison, and Liam at our table. Erica waved smiling at me when I saw the girl that walked with Jake this morning, her name's Jenna. She laughed, "Are you lost? "This is where the people with friends who actually have friends sit, the loners sit over there." as she pointed to an empty table." First of all ,I do have friends, though I don't seem to see yours."She rolled her eyes, staring at me bitterly. I walked over to the table and spotted the annoying girl Jake called 'friend' flirting with him. As I looked over Liam grabbed my hand, "Don't worry about him."He gave me a hug making me smile. I suddenly doubted even bothering to go anywhere with Jake. I realized now.... It's Liam. He's the one,Jake keeps on lying and saying he has feelings for me.But barely ever acts that way.

It was party time, I changed into my costume, and I got a ride with Liam, and his friends. He looked charming in his costume, and I was surprised. We soon arrived at the party, and as we got out of the car he grabbed my hand. "You ready? He asked. "Yeah,lets go." I smiled.
As we walked up the stairs the music got louder, and louder. Lots of people came. I looked around the living-room of the huge condo, and I saw Jenna flirting with Jake, I can't say I was jealous ,because I have Liam but he did lie to me so I was pretty upset.
For one thing he let Jenna flirt with him, and once he saw me looking at the two of them Jenna grabbed him and took him upstairs.
After that I didn't care what he did anymore, and I wouldn't let him ruin my first party. I grabbed ahold of Liam to dance, as Say It by Sevvyn Streeter remix version came on. We danced as I noticed someone watch me while I danced. "You're a good dancer."

Liam whispering-shouting. I saw Jenna pull Jaketoward, her dancing on Isaac while others were crowding around the 4 of us while we danced. I whispered to Liam," Let's show them what we've got.

The song changed into 'Work from Home'by 5th Harmony. I danced on him , and we pulled lots of cool moves which left both Jake and Jenna are surprised, and they stopped dancing.I could tell Jake was really jealous right now.
When the music stopped Jenna rolled her eyes, turning away trying to take Jake with her but he pushed her away. "J-jake!" she yelled. "Go away Jenna!" He yelled.

Jake frowned saying, "Mia, I'm soooo so, sorry. He left the building as I almost chased after him. Liam came over to check on me. "You okay?" Liam came over hugging me and kissing my forehead" Yeah, just frustrated, I can't believe Jake. I said frowning. "If he actually liked you, he wouldn't have tried to make you jealous." We start heading upstairs to find somewhere quiet when we go to the huge attic. "Thanks for being my date". Liam smiled. "I should be thanking you." I told Liam smiling .He drew in closer to me, coming closer, and closer. And it happened...

My first kiss

It was 9:25, and once Liam's brother dropped me off, Liam walked me to my front door. He gave me another kiss, making both his brother, and his friends yell "Yeah,Go Liam!" I kissed his cheek, before he could say, "I'll come over tomorrow afternoon". I nodded, and opened the door to my house.
My dad was sleeping as I silently closed the door, thankfully I had quiet feet. I sneaked into my room, changing as fast as I could. Taking off my Gladiator sandals, I grabbed a white t-shirt, a blue pair of sweatpants from Pink, and put them on. I grabbed my phone checking the Instagram photos my friends had trick –or- treating.
I got a text from my mom telling me that she had lots of candy for me that my siblings had got for me, from taking my niece trick –or- treating. She said she would bring it over tomorrow, and of course I love candy so I was excited.
