"Merc, time to get up...again. I need to show you something."
"I don't wanna." I complained.
"Well you've gotta, and I think you'll like what I have to show you." He bribed.
"Yeah? Well, ya see, every time I get up I'm plagued with some news or information that I really don't want to hear." I rolled over attempting to pull the sacred comforter with me, but PE wasn't having it this time.
"Oh no you don't." He said yanking the cover away from my face. "You have to get up. It's Sunday." He told me.
When I opened my eyes, I wasn't blind for a few seconds like I had been the last two times. Now when I peered through my eyes I saw a wonderland that was so beautiful it looked like a masterpiece.
"So?" I brought myself back to where I was. This torturous place where I'm not really sure who to trust.
"So..." he said in a way that was much more excited than his usual monotone expression. "That means it's time for Armour!" and then he did the strangest thing. He smiled. Not a smile because he was laughing at me. A smile because he was genuinely happy and excited about something. Well that's a first. I thought.
"I've been wanting to know what that is." I told him, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed.
"Well then come on!" he persisted.
"I'm getting there." I replied.
"Hang on." He said putting his hands up. "You aren't going in that are you?" He asked with an amused smirk.
"Um...yeah I was going to..." I trailed off not understanding the problem here.
"Oh no. You're changing. I know the girls got you clothes because they wouldn't let anybody walk around here without proper dressing." He told me.
"They did, but I still don't understand the problem here." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I mean you can go like that if you want, I'm just saying you're going to be odd man out." He shrugged like it was simple sociology.
"Well if I wear what they picked out for me...I'm not exactly blending in..."
He laughed. "It can't be that bad. I know Blaze. She'd never let anyone walk around here without looking decent."
"Okay. But only because in the end, if I wear that, I'm sort of blending in."
I went behind the curtain and put on what I had worn earlier today. I matched it with the pair of low cut silver victories.
When I came out Purple was sitting at the edge of the dwelling with his legs hanging over the side.
"Ready?" I asked.
He turned around instantly, startled. "Yeah. You change really fast." He stated.
"There's no point in taking long..." I said.
"True." He laughed.
"What were you looking at?" I asked him, genuinely curious.
"Um, nothing. Let's just go."
I grabbed his arm before he could escape down the side of the rocks. "Oh no, you're not getting away that easy." I looked into his purple eyes. "You were looking at the sunset." I finally deducted.
"No I wasn't," He fired out immediately.
"Yes you were. Man, you're more of a girl than I am, telling me I have to change and looking at the sunset." I joked, only to pay him back for this morning.
