Chapter 5

Louis's Pov.

The walk to Acacias house didn't take to long but it was quiet. I didn't know what to say. I just don't want her to push me away like I did to her. I've missed her & now that I'm standing next to her again I feel like the hulk. She still makes me get butterflies and stutter my words. One thing I do love about her is that I can be my complete self around her.

"Acacia will we ever be best friends again?" I asked mumbling my words.

"I don't know Lou. I just need time to think."

"Let me take you out tomorrow. It's not a date. Just a friendly fun date." I stated.

"Okay but it's not a date!"

I just nodded my head and grinned. I'm getting my best friend back wether she likes it or not.

The next morning I woke up around 10 and got ready. I told her I would pick her up at 12 so I got some time. I just hope my plan works.

I took a quick shower then rushed to my closet to pull out a stripped shirt with red shorts and red TOMS. After that I went down stairs and was greeted by the lads. Harry wasn't there so I assume he stayed at Lucy's last night. Ill have to give him a talk later.

I got in the car and went to Acacias house. I knocked on the door twice and she came and opened it. She looks stunning. She's wearing a floral patterned summer dress with white flats. Her hair is in some type of waterfall braid. I guess she didn't get the message about what were doing.

"Acacia you look stunning but you need to go change." I said seriously.

"Are you kidding me? It took me forever to do all this!"

"Just go change. You'll thank me later"

"Fine!!" She shouted.

I think she's mad. I thought I told Niall to text her and tell her we're going paint balling with the lads and Lucy. Then after I'm taking her to a carnival.

"Is this okay?" She asked.

I snapped out of my thoughts and put my attention back on her. She looked stunning once again. She's wearing anchor TOMS that say 'refuse to sink'. She's wearing shorts with a tank top. Her hair is in a braided pony tail.

"It's amazing. Lets go we're meeting the boys and Lucy."

"What?"

"You'll find out in a little bit" I said while opening the door for her.

It didn't take more then 20 minutes to get to the paintball arena where everybody was waiting at.

"We're paintballing?" She asked.

"Yeah I hope that's okay with you!"

"You're going to regret taking me here. I'm a pro and I tend to kick your ass!" She said evilly.

Now I'm scared. I couldn't even respond to that because I honestly didn't even know what to say. What could i say? Other then brag about how good I am.

"Alright the captains are going to be Niall and Lucy." The manager said.

Lucy: I pick Acacia.

Niall: I pick Louis.

Lucy: I pick Harry.

Niall: I pick Zayn.

Lucy: I pick Liam.

"That's not fair! Lucy gets one more person then I do!" Niall whinnied.

"Good luck" Lucy hissed.

Great. Lucy is good at this game too. I used to take her with me when I went paint balling when I was younger. This couldn't get any worse.

"Let the game begin"

Thats the last thing I heard before the door shut and the lights dimmed inside the paintball arena. I hid inside some bushes as I watched and kept guard.

I heard foot steps getting closer and it was Harry and Lucy.

"If you take one more step closer Harry I will shoot" Lucy said.

"So if I come and kiss you right now you would shoot me?" Harry said.

He leaned in and kissed her. He quickly pulled away and shoot her right in the chest. She fell to the ground. I could have easily shot her but the only person I want to win against is acacia.

The next set of foot steps were Niall and acacia. If I shoot her now it would be to easy. Ill wait until its just her and I left.

"Niall if you let me shoot you ill make sure we get Nandos do dinner tomorrow?" Acacia said.

"Okay! Shoot me" Niall responded.

God she had a way with words. Niall was down and Acacia ran away. I heard Zayn yelp so I assume somebody shot one at his hair. So that means Harry, me, Liam an Acacia are still in.

"Let's all gain up on Lou. I saw him in some bushes when the game began but I didn't want to shoot him. I wanted to get Lucy out." Harry whispered.

That when I knew I had to go in. Rolled over and shoot Harry in the chest and Liam in the leg. Those two were down but acacia got away. Great.

"Come find me Lou" Acacia sang.

I was running none stop. I couldn't stop, I didn't want her to have an easy target. For all I know she could be watching me right now. Who am I kidding. I don't even sound like myself anymore. I Tommo the superman can beat her at paintball any day.

I come up around the corner and there she is. Standing, aiming, right at me.

"Acacia, lets just let it be a tie, yeah?

"Let it be a tie? lLouis you should know I never let it end like that. One of us will win and one of us will lose. I will win."

"Why are you so determined?" Louis asked raising his eye brow.

" you reallyyyy want to know?" I asked.

"Yes. I've been dying to know"

"I liked you so much Lou. But you left me. We were best friends, remember? I feel so hard but you left me. Now you're back and all of a sudden you love me. I want to be with you so bad but what if you leave me again?"

Louis walked closer to me and started talking. "I've liked you sense the beginning acacia tucker. & ill love you till my last breath"

I leaned in getting inches away from his lips. I could feel his breathe. In one swift motion I pulled out my gun and shot him.

"I never lose, Louis"

"Well I do think you forgot something, acacia" he look up at me.

Lou tackled me to the ground and kissed me. It felt great. Sparks flew.

We are invincible.
