Every night before bed
is like a storm of emotions in her head
She remembers every detail
The hurtful words are leaving her frail
Poor thing, she hates school
not because of the work
but because of the bullies who think they're cool

Can you believe a girl so young
sometimes thinks she deserves to be hung
And that looking at a mirror leaves her crying
She even dreams about dying

Stupid, ugly, fat
All those words and more are drilled in
causing her to lean over a toilet
just to be thin

Her monsters aren't big and scary creatures
They don't live under her bed
They are instead the peoples' words
that live and flourish in her depressed, little head

They should really think before they speak
because now she is beyond weak
The constant horrible things they once said
are now the reason why she's dead
