"Alright, you all remember the plan?" Kev asked over our ear-pieces.
"Yup, Hoxton EMPs the cameras out, Chains comes in and kills the camera guy so he doesn't raise any alarms, Ash and I enter the back and take out the guards from the behind.Wolf, after all that is done, just walks in through the front door and we all meet in the middle, deliver the drill and cable tie the civies." Dallas revises like a robot.
"A 'yes' would have been adequate, but okay. My guy stashed the drill in a pickup truck round the back. Ash, you go round and pick it up. I'll be in your ears boys. Over and out." Kev replies
Hoxton kicks open the back of the van, and we file out.
Dallas follows me around the back of the Harvest and Trustee bank, and we grab the duffel bag with the drill in it, and slipped around to the back door.
"Wait for Hoxton with the EMP, then we'll go in." Dallas quietly told me ad I nodded. I knew this would take a little while, so I sat back and rethought about what I'm doing. I thought about all those years ago, and how at one stage I was the harmless civie in the same situation. Then they started shooting... And.... And...
Dallas must've seen my expression and put a hand on my shoulder. He was the only one that knew about my history as a hostage survivor.
"Don't worry, the cops won't show, we won't shoot any civies. These guns are for show." He bent down and his eyes met mine.
"Nobody will die."
*Third person POV*
Hoxton climbed over a fence and into the same parking lot Ash and Dallas were in, but went to the west entrance of the building. There, he pulled the bulky EMP from his pocket and put it up against the nearby switch board.
Under his breath he counted
"3, 2, 1..." He heard a short fizzle sound and smiled. His work was done.
Hoxton motioned for Chains to climb over the fence and go inside to 'take care' of the guy watching the cameras.*Ash's POV moments later...*
"You're good to go" Hoxton said over his mic in his Swedish accent.
"Let's move." Dallas pulled the door handle and crept into the building. Here, he found a few flights of staircase and the way into the small offices where people in accounting were working.
Dallas slipped up the stairs and I tip-toed into the accounting room, sneaking up behind a guard and chloroforming him. As I quietly as I can bring the body into the back room where we came from, I see Dallas dragging two others down the stairwell, bumping their heads on every last stair.
"That's gonna hurt in the morning." I muttered as we dumped them into the records room and locked the doors.
Dallas chuckled and got on the mic. "Chains, take care of that camera guy?"
"He's in the dumpster, blacked out. I put the two bicycles in the bike rack on top, added some garbage. He's not coming out any time soon." Chains replied in a dead-tone voice
"Brilliant. Kev, any more guards? We ready to rumble?"
"You've got all the guards, you guys are good to go. Make sure you cable tie all of them and strip them of their phones. I'll be your eye in the sky. Good luck." Kev aired over our headsets.
Kev controlled a tiny stealth drone in the air. It had infrared and a built in taser. Criminal mastermind's dream toy.
"Alright boys, masks on. It's Showtime."
