Her alarm goes off. She forgot to reset it last night before she went to bed. She got up groggily to silence it. She doesn't have enough sleep due to the pain of her poor buttocks. She couldn't get the right position in her sleep. Oh, her butt still hurts. She manages to use a hot compress to let the blood flow. It was bruised.

Stretching her arms, she came down from her bed. Stood up and entered the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash up. After combing her hair, she tied it up in a loose ponytail. She changed her clothes into a loose white tee with a big smiley face printed that covered the whole front bodice; she paired it with denim shorts. She looks like a teenager in her looks, despite the fact that she's almost being called a sprinter at her age. She'll be twenty-nine in a few more months and still single. As in SVSB.

When she arrived last night. After she kissed her grandma's cheek. She walked up to her bedroom to change. Just as she turned her heels and on her first step, her grandma called out.

"Briar, is there something wrong?"

"No, grandma, why'd you ask?"

"I've noticed that you're wincing. seems that you have a nail in your butt." Laughing

She laughs also. "I'm fine, Grandpa; I just fell down earlier, but I'm fine now," she said, continuing to walk up.

"Okay, come down quick; Imelda has prepared the table already."

"Yes, Grandma, I'll be quick." After awhile, she came down to the dining room to join her grandparents for dinner.

She stayed at her grandparent's house. They're her father's parents. Both are still living and are healthy. A good environment is good for them. They have their helpers; the elderly couple lives behind the house. Her grandparents have convinced them many times since the house is too big for just the two of them. But every time they always refused.

She will go call the Shine Bright later to check if her aunt has arrived yet. When she called last night, Olga told her that her aunt was out of town.

After she ate her breakfast with her grandparents, she dialed the office phone number. After a second ring, Olga picked up.

"Good morning, Shine Bright Housekeeping. May I help you?" Olga greeted in her usual happy greeting.

"Good morning, Olga! It's Briar. Has Aunt Lenna arrived yet?"

"Not yet, Ms. Briar. By the way, I have something to tell you. Mr. Carvalho just left; he paid your service for three days."

She gasped at Olga's word.

"In case you have a plan to deny that you have covered for Aurora for the past three days. Well, I'll tell you that according to Mr. Carvalho's description of the woman who cleaned up his house, there are no other workers of Shine Bright that match his description." She laughed and continued.
"You even gave him Aurora's name, do you?"

"Hey! What made you think that that's me, that I took Aurora's job?" she said.

"Well, dearest Briar. Analysis. I didn't see you for three days in a row. Talking to Mr. Carvalho this morning, there could be no other explanations needed. He asked if Aurora's available this morning, and I told him that Aurora has been sick for three days and she's on sick leave. Besides, her husband said that she is pregnant for their second child. He was confused though." She paused and waited for Briar to say a word, but she seems nothing has to say, so she continued. "He asked too many questions. Then I called Aurora, and I put on the loud speaker."

"You did what?" Briar cut into her.

"Put on the speaker phone so he can hear the truth that Aurora never left their home. And that the Aurora he met had was unknown. Mystery effect," Olga said and burst into laughter.

"I hope you didn't give him any idea who was the woman he saw yesterday."

"Oh, it was too late. I told him the person who matches the description is no other than Mrs. Ferreira's beautiful niece."

Briar can sense that Olga is grinning from ear to ear.
She knew her since she was in high school. During their yearly visit to her Aunt Lenna's housekeeping company, Olga had become her friend. Olga is only three years older than her. Olga was working with her aunt many years ago. She has no other family, so the only family she considered she had is her Aunt Lenna. She is trustworthy; that's why her aunt can travel without worrying regarding the Shine Bright Housekeeping.

"Olgaaaa! I could kill you.

But Olga laughs even more.

"By the way, your secret is safe with me. Don't worry, I'll tell no one who's the mysterious Aurora," Olga said, laughing.

"Better not, or you'll kiss my ass."

"Yuck!"

"Ha ha ha, bye," she said the word, not laughing. "Call me when Aunt Lenna arrives," she said after.

Then they hang up.
