Who wrote Mahabharata?
Ved Vyas?
Vyas asked Lord Sri Ganesh to write the Mahabharata.
Ganesh put a condition that he should not stop telling it.
Vyas accepted and added a condition that he should write what is correct.
Since there was no time to dip the feather in ink every time, Ganesh broke his teeth and used it as pen.

Vyas told it to his students, who told to their students, and these people told it to different rishi, munis, people and kings, and so on.

As it progressed some local tales were added, some lost, and some retelling in a different style.

So if you already know a story and its different here, think of it as a different version.

Those that I write are mostly from what I saw on t.v. and a few which I heard from my grand parents, aunts and others.
