Wolfblood

Chapter 1 - Rhydian

Rhydian walked along side his mother and brother into a campy there were people around camp fire and tents set up.

"i thought you didn't belong to a pack." he asked his mother Ceri

"its not a pack its safety. just because we travel together doesn't mean we're a pack" Ceri replied glaring. as the walked in people stared at them when a girl jumped down from a tree.

"well, well, well dearest Ceri decided to return. do one Bryn" she growled at the little boy who ran off. the new girl with long brown hair stalked up to the older wolf ignoring Rhydian.

"been stalking the one you left behind huh forcing idea tut tut Ceri."

*Rhydian*

"she didn't force me here alright" the girl's head snapped towards me and smirked.

"ah you must be the famous Rhydian. word of advice ingnore her and do what is right go home" her gaze softened but turned hard looking back to Ceri.

"try that little stunt you pulled before you left and it will be a lot worse that a scratch" she growled at her before shifting and running off. i looked back to Ceri who was glaring at the spot where the girl had been. she turned to me with a murderous look.

"you stay away from her if you know what good for ya" she tugged me towards a cave where Bryn was waiting.

"mum there is another meeting soon, i think we're moving again." Bryn said

"chuck your bag anywhere and lets go" Ceri ordered i did as she said and dropped my bag in a corner everyone in the camp gathered and waited for someone to speak. until a man in what i think was his forties stood infornt of everyone.

"wolf bloods it looks like we'll have to move again because we've had report of humans and tame wolves searching the area..." he was cut of

"why don't we just send the freak she'll scare them off" everyone laughed.

"wanna say that again douche" the girl from earlier calls everyone makes space for the two

"yeah freak" his friends where all ooohing while other wolfs looked afraid.

she slowly walked up to him like a predator stalking its prey before she grabbed is arm  and twisted it then the other arm before moving on to his legs kicking them the boy yelled in pain each time

"and for good measure" she took a few steps back and ran at him jumps kicking her legs out to his back making him fall on the floor.

"IF ANYONE CALLS ME A FREAK OR WIRDO AGAIN YOU'LL END UP LIKE MARK YOU GET ME. SCARED LITTLE PUPS!" she screamed before storming off .

"I'm going to look around if that's okay" Ceri nodded and i went in the direction of the girl. i came to a hill still no sign of the girl so i decided to sit down. i wonder what Maddie would be doing right now, would she have left with her family? or stayed because Shannon and Tom did the right thing and not publish the photos. i missed them.

i missed running with Maddie through the wood on breaks and i missed all the little arguments making sure we weren't found out, everything about stony bridge. it was a home. my home

"where's stony bridge " a voice behind me brings me out of my thought looking round it was the girl from earlier she was reaching a plum looking at me curiously

"what" i asked she smiled and sat next to me.

"you were thinking out loud and you mentioned how you missed Stony bridge" she replied taking another bite.

"its about a day's walk from here. it's a small village where i was before Ceri found me" i answered

"why is everyone scared of you i thought we weren't scared of anything?" i questioned, she laughed

"I'm dangerous like really dangerous not just to humans but to other wolf bloods. you know right after you transform your mood and attitude changes" i nodded

"well before i was a wolf i was sweet and kind a push over after i became so angry anything sets me off nothing has changed if you walk around the camp and see scars there me i can't help it my wolf just takes over." she throw the stone of the plum away

"I'm Jace by the way" she rubs her hands on her jacket the holds out her hand i take it and shake it
